for the inhumans---you would read secret invasion: inhumans, and war of kings...both of are which are not really worth buying imo

for mutants: you should get messiah complex next

i would say to just read whedon and cassady's astonishing x-men...because you're about to get into super-mega-event-crossover territory with civil war, world war hulk, secret invasion, seige...it gets pretty convoluted imo

Hmm.. Thats a shame.
Not really into any particular artist, or writer, or character. Been sort of in a comic book reading hiatus, so naturally ive fallen somewhat behind. I just jumped in somewhere near where I left off (pretty much last thing 'major marvel events' I read was civil war), basically just somewhere familiar where I can enjoy whats going on and not be left in the dark about whats going on.

my recommendation to you is to read stuff that's self-contained or out of continuity so it's not such a nightmare to follow and there's less of a change up of writers and artists...the inhumans stuff show a huge decline in quality from son of m and silent war.

well since civil war you should read secret invasion and seige and that would catch you up on the major marvel events. with x-men, you should check out messiah complex and the x-force series and you would be up to speed imo.

if you want to stay away from events, i would recommend 'astonishing x-men' and 'ultimate spider-man'...also the series ultimate x that's only 2 issues in is surprisingly good with excellent artwork. or check out stuff like 'criminal' and 'scalped' which aren't superhero comics but are the best things out imo

since they rebooted ultimate spider-man its good but the art might be so-so. if you plan on reading the ultimate universe I highly advise you stay away from Ultimatum.

they had me with tori black as catwoman, but lexi belle as batgirl is a bonus.

^^^hahaha fuck sentry. he's been the most baffling character to me since i started reading comics again. the concept has a lot of potential but they never went in a particular direction with him. he runs like a pussy from everything, but then he beats up thor.

i think with siege, i wasnt looking for depth, in any sense..i think i just wanted out of Dark Regin already..eloels..i wanted a status quo shift..good or bad.

^^^i hear you, but alot of the characterization and story work to put things into context was done in the dark avengers book...like dark avengers 16 should've been part of seige #4
plus alot of it just happened fast, and seemed like they had a 'to do' list that they were hastily running through.

make steve rogers 'top cop'? check
overturn the registration act? whoops...almost forgot. give it one panel. check.

it was frustrating to read because we all know bendis is capable of alot more, but it accomplish it's goals.

i agree 100% and i did get the sense (especially having seen some interview he did addressing the issue) that he was like, oh u guys think i stretched out secret invasion out for too long? well suck on this...eloels.

ya, i'm just glad it's over...i got new avengers finale today, and aside from the self indulgent and wasteful flashback pages (nice monologue though)...that was a good comic. loved the surprise appearance lol bendis is so hit or miss it's ridiculous lol

new avengers finale was alright, as for Flash..wtf? did he really do that..with..the building? eloels.

he went to the library and then all of a sudden built a new house. replaced a doll too
