not to mention they can sit good players more of the time in serie A in favor of having them ready for CL games.
i just still see lyon in the tier of really good teams, but not great teams. they dont have enough fire power up top for me to put them there.
yeah lyon lack that real class to really put up a challenge.
inter will also have more depth in the squad, they should build a squad that will not win only this seasons seria a but a team that is ready to become italy's top team even when juve and milan are back.

lyon will have a big problem. they're outstanding on the national scheme, running for a 6th title in a row, no team did that in europe.
but, the players don't feel like they're in a prestigious club, so they wanna move, even if lyon is getting more and more money to keep them. Real Madrid is said to have an eye on Abidal and Diarra. AC Milan has been scouting Cris for months. etc etc etc...
they're gonna count a lot on Fred for the coming season.
^ very true about lyon. they are carving a nice nitch. but until they get to some CL finals and win one or two the players are right to move to a team that will get them there.
who watched dennis bergkamps final game, johan cruyff has still got skills and van basten is still very skillful he pulled of some neat tricks and nice passes.
