Should be a great night for boxing fans tonight...I'm going with Juanma Lopez against Rafael Marquez in an exciting fight. I think both are tasting the canvas. Then we have Zab Judah's fight on HBO about the same time. I'll be flipping channels from Showtime & HBO.
Loved watching Glen Johnson clown Allan "I Have Dynamite In My Hands But Refuse to Let Em Loose" Green. How poetic would it be if Johnson managed to win the tournament after all the times he's been screwed on the scorecards?
I'm happy as shit for Johnson although he might get delt with later on in the tourney. That Juanma/Marquez was BRUTAL while it lasted!

^^Yea that's what the majority of people are saying. I think that Pacman is in fighting shape but wonder where he's at mentally. It seems like he's focusing on everything but the fight. Campaigning for Harry Reid in Nevada? I'm rooting for Pacman to destroy Margarito but I think that it's going to be a physical & brutal fight for both.
As for Marquez, he gave a valiant effort but I would advise him to go back to 122 or retire. Bad shoulder or not he took some nasty shots the last couple rounds of Saturday's fight.
I'm bummed how the Marquez-JML fight ended. Been watching Marquez for almost a 10 years now and he's had an exciting career but you can see his skills diminishing every fight. He took a savage beating the last two rounds but quit because his shoulder hurt? Get that shit outta here. Those Vazquez wars have really taken a toll on his body. It's insane how his brother JMM has been able to be so good for so long. Probably because he doesn't epitomize the classic mexican style of taking two punches to land one.
I picked Margarito to win against Pacman on first instinct but I REALLY thought Miguel Cotto and Ricky Hatton would put up better fights against Manny so I'm going with Pacman by late stoppage. Since Floyd is too busy ducking Manny and handpicking easy prey, I'd love to see Juan Manuel Marquez get another crack at Manny if he can get by Michael Katsidis and Manny beats Margarito.

Antonio Margarito beats Manny Pacquiao; Floyd Mayweather considers Manny Pacquiao "weak" and schedules a fight against him, Manny Pacquiao then beats Floyd Mayweather legitimately. Mayweather shuts his mouth, Pacquiao gets elected into office
