Concerning the Rev
---- NYPD shooting victim’s family: Stay away, Sharpton!
The family of police-shooting victim Akai Gurley had a message on Friday for the Rev. Al Sharpton: Keep your “circus” away from his funeral!
The blowhard opportunist muscled his way into the arrangements — and even put out press releases promising to deliver the eulogy — without ever consulting the family or offering to foot the bill.
Gurley’s aunt (Hertencia Petersen) was stunned that Sharpton and his National Action Network billed him as the eulogist for a Friday funeral, when they were planning on a Saturday service and wanted a speaker who actually knew Gurley.
“How can you do a eulogy for someone you don’t even know? It’s heartbreaking,” she said.

Lmao. They should file a restraining against his vulture ass.
Bosnians still being attacked in STL
http://www.stltoday.com/news/local/m...1ffbe56f3.html
when i think of "white" people who don't understand the struggle and need to be taught a harsh lesson in fergunomics, i think about Bosnians
Yea victim and witness statements don't always hold water. What's awful about all of these situations is that ppl in North America would rather pick their stance based on their personal confirmation bias before all evidence is thoroughly examined.
Then again we're in a society of instant gratification, fast food, on-demand content and information overload. What's sort of frightening though is the vast misunderstanding or disregard of ballistic & forensic evidence by the masses in any high profile case. Considering it often tells the real story of a crime scene when testimony is vague or jury parties become tainted from outside influences.
Yup.

-Columbia Law School will let students postpone their final exams if they say they feel traumatized by the polarizing grand jury decisions not to indict police officers in the deaths of Michael Brown and Eric Garner.

‘Witness 40’ for Ferguson grand jury exposed as a racist, mentally ill felon who lied about shooting: report
http://www.nydailynews.com/news/nati...icle-1.2047404
Quote:
The key witness, who described Michael Brown charging 'like a football player' at Officer Darren Wilson in the moments before the fatal Aug. 9 shooting, has been named as Sandra McElroy, a 45-year-old St. Louis woman and Wilson supporter who likely was not even in Ferguson the day of the shooting. The Smoking Gun report found McElroy, who once lied to police in another high-profile St. Louis case, has a history of racist rants online and was convicted of felony check fraud.
Quote:
McElroy claims she was in Ferguson and witnessed the Aug. 9 shooting. She later posted a photo of the shooting scene, like the one shown, with overlayed text that read, "Michael Brown already received justice. So please, stop asking for it."

“Well Im gonna take my random drive to Florisant,” the first journal entry read. “Need to understand the Black race better so I stop calling Blacks N-----s and Start calling them People.”
While the food for thoughts of the world lay Down in the street, the rest of us continue to work to support his government funded awareness campaign.

Talib Kweli is nothing if not committed. Where other rappers and celebrities might pay a social cause lip service, the Brooklyn rapper has the follow through that fans and followers admire. His involvement in the ongoing protests in and related to the killing of Michael Brown Ferguson, Mo. is a prime example. Last night (Jan. 22), Kweli joined Larry Wilmore on the latter’s new Comedy Central talk program, The Nightly Show With Larry Wilmore. The pair was accompanied by comedian Bill Burr and New Jersey Senator Cory Booker for a discussion about race, protest, and the cultural landscape of modern America.
On the topic of the so-called Ferguson protests, Kweli had a few clarifying points, stressing that what he witnessed on the ground there “wasn’t really a riot.” Though brief, the conversation also touched on the efficacy of peaceful protest; Burr was skeptical, observing that most serious change was affected by “ridiculous acts of violence.”
Kweli went on to add that protest “is a long game,” citing the Montgomery bus boycotts’ 18-month timeline and the considered manner in which Rosa Parks was selected as the public face of the movement.

So much for a peaceful gathering. CNN now has to eat those words.

America's future looks so promising
was that a girl in a wheelchair?
I can understand them destroying cop shops and police cars and any government buildings but destroying local business is just counter productive to the community. If you're protesting about police brutality and stuff then why destroy and loot a 7/11
Smashing police cars doesn't help any cause. With some of the people it's more about breaking stuff and getting free things than actually protesting against anything.
Liberal media outlets getting robbed on the spot..

This is very embarrassing. To me, it's down right disturbing. The point of a "peaceful" protest is to demonstrate to ability not to initiate violence of any sort.
When protesters start destroying city property, committing crimes, causing chaos in their communities, and attacking innocent people, then protest against violence and profiling is pointless. If respect is demanded, then have respect for yourself and your neighbors.
However, people view a man's death to behave like animals. What's sickening is they'll conjure up a response to justify their actions.
There's no excuse for mindless destruction.

LOL@Check Two's comments saying the blacks that rioted were doing that just to get some free stuff from the stores hahahahahahahahahahaha. I agree. What were they rioting about? Cops in Baltimore killed a black man recently? What else is new LOL.
Sucks working in these areas since my office is in the city. White folk are being attack randomly as well. its mostly school kids doing all of it. Crazy right now. I work nights so it gets pretty iffy
Right now they are destroying the areas most of the rioters live in. Makes no sense. No protesters just kids throwing shit and burning things think its all fun and games Jumping for joy after throwing a rock.
Any one that trys to open my door will get stuck straight up lol.
Sidenote a few gangs (Bloods. Crips and Black Gorilla) are teaming up trying to kill police. Nothing happening on that level yet and hopefully doesn't.
The new law is you have to let the rioters have their way with you or you will be charged with a hate crime
Btw good luck, stay safe
I was gonna go to O's-Rays game next month when i'm out there, but i'll probably stay in VA, not taking my kid near those bammas
GZAjector, you can't be serious. That's a new law for real? That's terrible and wrong. If the rioters try to hurt the police, the police have the right to beat them up or shoot them.
