I played a FT matrix match today. They are fun but not really worth it especially at the $1 level when the rake is .25...the rake is what kills you.
playing the daily dollar rock? I won a satellite to that today but it already started...i just took the 200 ftp....i got enough ftps to have good chances at a cash... playing the $1 token frenzy now. I dont bother with "strict" BR management after a cashed out...now I only have a bit of change left in FT.
I destroy those satellites to the daily dollar, easiest way to maintain your bankroll by far, no rake and tons of donkeys playing multiple tables and not paying attention. My goal tomorrow, make 2000 points in one day.

I apparently reached a plateau on full tilt because after I reached $150 I lost every single tournament and cash game I entered, even though i spent no more than $5 on anything. I win just about every live game I play, I turned $5 into $150 in just a few days online, but it turned on a dime. I'm pretty much done with this online garbage, I can't take itt anymore. Anybody that can stand losing with AK versus a garbage ace 90% of the time is a much better man than me. Getting your money in good online means absolutely nothing.
I asked Full Tilt and Pokerstars the same question. Do your employees sign non-disclosure agreements? Full Tilt basically said it was none of my business, meaning they do have them, and Pokerstars as typical of them, gave me a completely different answer to the question I asked. Go figure. If their employees do indeed sign non-disclosure agreements, that would mean they are above prosecution and could do whatever they want to cheat. Just a few important hands here and there could be the difference between a losing player and a winning one. Now we already heard Mic-cord strangler who is from Europe say that it's a good idea to play limit hold em super loose, and he is a so-called winning player, what does that tell you?
Thank you for your response.

on one hand you say "I turned $5 into $150 in just a few days". which is obv thanks to your amazing skills. but when you lost it must be because "online is Ri1GGggEDD!!" right? am i the only one who sees this?
the variance in POKER is SICK. live or online... you dont seem to completely grasp it. or you do, but you cant seem to handle it

wait WAT!! i never said that ffs. only thing i did was tell you that raising with the nuts only (lol) is missing value. that does not equate to "playing super loose"..... jeez
raising with top pair on the river isnt loose?
seriously, look at my stats on full tilt, go to OPR and look, I cash 27% of the time in tournys and I can't hold a bankroll? What the fuck. I hold winning sessions 90% of the time in live cash games, but I go online and run into every cooler known to man. I have played 15 million hands in my life. I know everything there is to know about the game. I read hands better than anyone I know. Yet, the only thing that is stopping me is a so-called random number generator that thinks A4 is better than AK. I have won freerolls with thousands of people, but if I play a 45 person sit n go where the buy in is over $5 I don't stand a chance. It's not like I have been playing for a few weeks. I used to be very successful online, so what the fuck happened?
i never said this. stop twisting my goddamn words. all i said was "only raising with the nuts" is stupid.
just cashing is not good enough. also.. LOL DONKAMENTS
lol. no you havent.
are you fucking serious? no you dont. you have not played 15M hands. stop lying.
you are delusional, twist my words, and seem tilty
and for someone who "knows everything there is to know about the game" (lolll) you are pretty fucking stupid if you keep playing online if you are so convinced its rigged against you (which its not)

these are not the words of a man who has played 15 million hands...
All I can say is that it's business as usual on FT. Don't know about Pokerstars
My AKo winnings are horrible says my poker tracker but I don't know if I lost them from a lower rags much I never booted it up in a while.
I looked at your OPR, I guess the shitty thing is you havent had many top 3 finishes in the past week...got a sick $11 OLPL 1-table SNG though. With your BR now whatever it is Id suggest playing the $2 or $5 single table sngs so you dont have to deal with variance as much under $150.
I have been losing since I cashed out most of my winnings. Now I am pretty much only playing the daily dollar satellites with my FTPs but I never have the time to play them at 8:15.
I'm done with you. Don't even address me if you think I'm lying. I'm 30 years old and have been playing since I was 15, regularly since I was 17. Over the past 5 years I have netted approximately 2 million hands a year. I play 14 hours a day, 7 days a week. Any idiot could just look up the number of tournaments I've played in the past few years and realize I've played a ton of hands, but you would rather brush it off and call me a liar. So be it. I don't give a shit what you think anyway. You've had everything handed to you. What the fuck do you REALLY know about poker? Nothing.
ok i just wanna know where you are coming up with these numbers? are you just estimating? do you have a program that keeps track? show me proof then.. if you cant, youre prolly just estimating a wayy too high a number imo. you get dealt like 400 hands in an MTT, even less in SNGs. so i think youre overestimatingQuote:

yet you play micro tournaments? and your "bankroll is 0"??? what the fuck?Quote:

uhhm, wait what? i started wth $50 and nearly make a living off it now. i grinded. how was it handed to me exactly?
listen, i have no problem with you really, but i stumbled upon this thread and you are posting all over the place about poker but i noticed quikcly that just alot of your advice was downright terrible and amateuristic, not to mention the childish claims how online poker is rigged because you cant beat it. its just.........

We were talking about a 9 handed limit table
We need a fair challenge so I can shut you the fuck up. How about you pick the site, and we'll play heads up for play chips or something, no wait, you wouldn't take that seriously would you, and you would probably make your own excuses when you lost. Like I said, I'm done with you, so far you haven't proved you know anything about anything, and you could be posting your brother's account for all we know, so just fuck off. What are you doing wasting your time posting here if you're so successful? Shouldn't you be making money?
lol you really want a headsup grudge match dont you? and no, im not playing for play chips. lol play chips.
i havent proven anything? i dont need to prove anything, but that little strategy write up i did back on page 16 is good and concise valuable information, which is more than i can say you have shown IMO! and some people expressed that they enjoyed the piece. so...
and i dont really have to prove to you that those screenshots were real. i guess if you REALLY want to know for sure i can sit on a limit holdem table on stars and with a bunch of money and type in chat whatever you tell me here to type, so i can prove its me.
and im not "wasting my time" posting here... i love hip hop and i love poker, so its not very weird i'd be in this thread now is it?
Feel good to get that all out? Try reading the first 15 pages to see what I've contributed, rather then tearing me down, calling my advice amateurish when most of what I write comes directly from poker books like Harrington on Hold em and The theory of poker. Obviously I'm running as bad as it can get right now, but I didn't keep myself alive for the past 4 years without a job by being shitty at poker nah mean? That said, you can go fuck yourself.
Full Tilt is refusing to answer whether their employees sign NDR's for "security reasons". Yea fucking right.
ive been reading a bit and sure you have some valid stuff there. you generally seem know the basics
but still, i see many things that i highly disagree with. and other midstakes no limit players who play for a living would as well
for instance you advocate raising/betting to find out where we stand somewhere on page 1.
the only reasons we should bet/raise are
1. value,
2. protection,
3. bluff and/or semi-bluff.
betting/raising to find out where we stand is very bad and typical of a starting player. we should be able to gather information as well by making out what their betsizes and timing etc mean. for instance youre gonna raise top pair on the flop and then he goes all in and you fold, saying "hey i found out i was beat!"... which is ridiculous because we might still have been bluffed. if we had just called we could have improved our hand instead of blowing ourselves out of the pot. a scary card could have hit on the turn which slows our opponent down which gives us a chance to get our top pair to showdown. thats what you wanna do with top pair.. get to showdown and extract some value if possible, not raise and bloat the pot with a mediocre hand. by not betting/raising to simply find out where we stand we also keep our opponents range of hands that we are playing againstwider, which is actually good for us. do you see why?
also, somewhere you state that you checked AK from the big blind after the small blind limped, which is already kind of silly but meh i'll allow it. you then call 5 x pot with a gutshot and overs which is bad, unless you are ridiculously deep stacked which you probably werent. then you both made your straight and you bust him. you then continue to say that your opponent played his hand fine... when open limping from the small blind with K9 in the first place is terrible play, never mind overbetting the pot 5x.... its just silly.
these are only 2 things i quickly saw after skimming throught the first few pages..
GG
I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. You make things up to suit your ego.
no i didnt make those things up. you posted them
post #11 in this thread: you advocating betting/raising to find out where you are at/gather information
and
post #22 in this thread: you telling a story how your buddy limped K9 in the small blind and you checked AK and you beat him straight over straight and you saying he played it well
.....
they are things that beginning players do instinctively and seem natural that are actually very bad... you advocate those things. that is not goodQuote:
Obviously the advice I was giving there WAS for beginning players, you stupid obnoxious cunt.
Quote:
Wow you are going OUT OF YOUR WAY to prove that I'm a bad player. I gotta say, it's really annoying. I don't give a fuck what you think. You're stupid.
well you said you didnt know what i was talking about so i just referred to the posts i was talking about....
Likes online poker because he never experiences losses of any kind^^^
please just stop cunt, start your own thread
hmm im actually on a big downswing at the moment.. but thanks. i know it hurts when you bust out of a $2 sit n go. but i dont claim online is rigged when i lose, thats the difference between me and you. i actually fess up and admit i played bad when i did
and im not starting another thread, one poker thread would be enough imo
and btw, why dont you just react to my criticisms of your strategy posts? you are blatantly ignoring all the constructive criticism i give you
If I were playing bad, I would totally admit it. I have been playing great, and when the blinds catch up, I've been getting my cash in good only to be destroyed by the cards. That's the bane of my online existence.
Oh yea, I totally forgot about this. I caught Scott Fischman at a $1/$2 Limit OHL table. I dropped $20 down and as he aggressively raised just about every pot, I broke him rather quickly. I wanted him to stay, but he took off. Too bad, I coulda fucked him up all night. He sucks at OHL.
