The minimum wage was raised and both poverty and unemployment were considerably lower than they had been in recent years during the Clintom administration.
It's not a black thing, it's that people of a lower socioecomic status were, at least relatively, thriving during the Clinton's presidency.
Plus, Clinton, seemed, at least to me, in spite of, and partially because of, his flaws, to be a "real", likeable guy.
And that, CJ, is my philosophy on "Why blacks loved Bill Clinton".
