Since we won't win it I'd like to see Barca win. They only have 2 cups in their history, they need to make up ground. They play the best football to watch of anybody. Their defence is a problem though.
I think most ppl would like to see Barca go as far as possible. they play the most entertaining style of football. but usually those teams never really win.
Porto are a solid team, to think they werent even gonna be in the champs league at the start of the season. now they in the quarters, good for them.

I am a Man Utd fan (I like Barça & AC Milan too). We got hammered by Liverpool for the first time since years, but I must admit that they desreved to win.
We made a lot of mistakes; especially by Vidic (fist goal) and Evra.

i see both sides of it. i think yea it will decrease the quality of the club game, at least in the beginning.
however on the other side of the coin i feel especially the english would be worried because yea their club success would definatly suffer at first. can you name 24 english players that should be playing in the champions league? i doubt anyone could. because i dont think they exist. its not only the big english clubs, you can even look at the mid levels. boltons, portsmoths, everton, they dont even field that many english players. while almost all italian sides minus inter field usually 50 to 75% of their team being italian.

but no one really gives a shit about their national side anymore in comparison to their club. If you asked any United fan if they prefer England to win the World Cup to United wnning the Champions League again 95% would say United.
