Anyone read Shadowland? I was really hyped for it until I read the terrible reviews for it on IGN. Is it as bad as they're saying?
never. i repeat NEVER trust a comic book reviewer/critic. they are the worst of the lot and their opinions are as meaningless as it gets.
they are the bottom of the barrel as far as critics go. never listen to them and your comic reading days will be good ones.

i copped batman:odyssey and thought it was pretty mediocre. was i the only muhfucka who was confused as fuck reading it? man-bats waynes helper? and was robin supposed to be greyson? if so, he was wearing drakes uniform. kinda a clusterfuck as far as the writing.
grayson was in drake's costume because neal adams designed it originally back in 91 or 92 and he hates the original robin costume lol...the story is out of continuity.
the man-bat thing, as well as the whole bit at the pier at the end, confused the fuck out of me also.
ok. now the costume makes sense. but 12 issues of that incoherent shit? i dont think im on board for that. lol

i thought scarlet was ok...the constant fourth wall breaking got to be a little too cutesy to me, and there were some lame storytelling shortcuts taken imo (my first kiss...etc) i might get the trade later though.
