Anybody going to watch the All-Star game?
Always.
They almost pulled one out last year.
Griffey just hit 600. Congrats to him
meanwhile in Detroit, Dontrelle Willis walks 2 batters than gives up a 3 run homer...cool...
and ya'll laughed at my phillies...
shame on all of you...
Good for Griff. I really like him. He's one of my favs. Good to see him finally get it.
I got ticket to the next two tigers/sox games. I hope they don't get rain like tonight.
I wanna try and get to a Mets series but I might be going to an Angels one.
Interleague games are always cool.
Yeah I like interleague. It's good competition. lol except the last time I went to a Phils/Red Sox game at Citizen's Bank Park, and you coulda sworn you were in Boston there were so many Sox fans there.
Boston fans are everywhere man.
Yeah I don't know but it seems they just love taking over stadiums.
Red Sox fans get crazily obsessed like some soccer fans do outside of the US.
plus with Boston fans, as the same case as Yankees fans, alot of them live in different states, so they just bandwagon to them
Yeah that's the first thing I figured was the majority of them were on the wagon.
Tigers just swept the sox with a walk-off today. They really needed that.
Yeah and freaking Tom Gordon gave up a walk off grand slam last night. TERRIBLE!
I've always thought why there was so many Boston fans at road games because of their home stadium only fits, what, like 35,000. They're always sold out so their only option is to go to the road games.
That could be the reason.
20 to 2 just killing STL...
it cuz theyre nuts about baseball in Boston. ive lived there for 4 years they are crazy there
Milton Bradley is having one hell of a season. Too bad it's gonna be overshadowed by his antics.
Yeah, and it seems like bad tempers also. Like if you tell a Red Sox fan that you don't like the Sox, they get a crazed look in their eyes, and they are ready to headbutt you.
Marcus Thames is my new favorite Tiger.
Leading the club in home runs with less then half the at bats then starters and four game in a row with home runs.
Update,
He just hit another one ha ha.
Kid is HOT!
Speaking of Red Sox, we just beat the hell out of them. Rhino had two homers and a triple, and my boy Jimmy went 3-5 with a homer. Cole Hamels was lights out! Still on top of the east ain't nuttin changed lol.
Yeah, as of now, the top teams to beat in the National League are the Phillies and Cubs.
Willie Randolph just got fired!!!!
Wow. I was hoping they would let him finish out the season.
I didn't expect him to get fired yet, I mean they won the game.
Man Thames hit another homer last night tying a franchise records for five straight games with homers. His last eight hits have all been home runs.
Also congrats to Renteria for being the first Colombian player to reach 2,000 hits.
Did anyone hear about that guy that doesn't want to give Griffey his 600 home run ball back?
Yeah, just like the day after it happened. He only gave his first name or some shit.
Why anything new with it?
No but on ESPN.com there was an article about it and like 3 different people are telling him to give it back and Luis Gonzalez was saying how it feels to want those milestone balls because in the 2001 WS when he had that hit he never got the ball back or something.
I see. I would have gave it back to be cool with Griff.
