Dude be making bank
from my understanding of the SF and Zuffa purchase was that a lot of SF investors pulled out, and if they wanted to continue this was a necessary evil. At the end of the day I don't care who signs the checks, I just wanna see some decent can on can crime
ufc 128 this sat...should be good
but cant wait till the one after 129
Jbj beat that ass
its evolving toward that
Huh?
Anyway, GREAT main event. The undercard was...meh, but I was just really wanted to see the main event, Faber match, and Cro get his head knocked off.
The only LHW I see possibly taking the title away from Jones is a focused Rampage. Every other fighter in that division, including Rashad, would be neutralized by Jones wrestling, strength, speed, aggression and reach. Rampage, when focused, has shown he has the power to take out ANYONE (and his chin is VERY tested, unlike everyone else in the division). With that said, I have a tough time imagining Rampage going back to his early UFC (and Pride) level.
Jones is the truth! No, seriously, check what he was doing hours before he became the youngest UFC champion ever

jones did his thing good ground and pound game from full guard
Jones was making up some moves on the spot in his fight with Rua. I'm still surprised he dominated Rua in EVERY aspect of the fight. I can see a lot of Anderson Silva influence in his style (who he openly admits is one of his favorite fighters).
free ufc tonight at 10 on spike... pretty good card for free...hit facebook ufc to see the prelims from ur computer
Cung Le interview filming movies and the future of MMA!

strikeforce was nice this past weekend.. great fights
some news....fedor might be back...he is in negotiations to fight dan henderson...that sounds like a dope fight
next mma event.....gsp vs sheilds ..cant wait
Anderson Silva is going to fight Yushin Okami I was hoping if GSP would have won him and the spider would have fought
also rua and griffin are going to have a rematch
gsp next weekend...going to a nice ass fight
yo!!!!!!!! this kid kyle maynard is the next GSP!!!
Maynard via flying dongbar
time for crocop to retire...racking loses up like nothing
damn that last prelim fight was mad crazy.. this kid 21 years old destroyed nate diez
last round he hit nate with 3 suplexes
time for the main fights
.
haha randy got ko'd by the karate kid movie..crain style...jumping snap kick...by lyoto
said to see randy go out they way
he also lost a tooth
This is a pic of Mark Hominick taken right after the fight with Jose Aldo.
Been a really good night so far, a couple of really good knockouts and still the last fight to come.

yea that was a crazy fight...^^^...gsp hit jack wit a power jab had him flying back to the ground
jake looks like a deer in headlight
I couldn't bear to watch gspenis gay up another headline with a shitty decision victory. I'm not content to see the ww equivalent of tim sylvia fighting to not loose......either shit or get off the pot, IMO
Great UFC event, bad main event (looked great on paper at least). And really, this should end the GSP/Silva comparisons. GSP's reaction to injury (and this is BEFORE the eye poke, btw) vs Silva's (he fought WITH broken ribs against a guy on steroids through 5 rounds...and STILL finished the guy) is very telling.
He definitely doesn't want it with Silva (not that I blame him, and this is coming from a GSP fan) after this performance.
Apart from that, I was very happy with this PPV. This is a keeper for sure. I'm glad my favorite fighters came out on top (Henderson, Machida, Aldo, and GSP).
what happened to my boy gerald harris?
man oh man that was intense. my first UFC event and it was 55,000 people. so fucking packed in there, it was madness
the crowd was going apeshit for everyone with a canadian flag next to their name lol
the prelims were pretty much the best part. possibly the greatest spinning backfist in MMA history, kyle watson was down out cold for like 15 minutes with a small crowd of medics around him. it was actually scary, we all thought we witnessed the first death in MMA history lol
the macdonald/diaz fight was madness also, that third giant suplex was the craziest moment of the night, everyone went bananas right there. nate was getting tossed around like a ragdoll
aldo/hominick was fuego... hominick's head was all sorts of fucked up, i've never seen a goosebump like that before hahaha. he almost took him in the last round, would have been a crazy finish
gsp fight sucked, he is probably the best but it doesn't make for an interesting show
hahaha the whole stadium had a 'FUCK YOU SHIELDS! FUCK YOU SHIELDS!' chant going. bruce buffer had to break that shit up lol
can't get over how fuckin packed that place was, 55,000 people is a little much lol. i cant hear for shit right now
lol @ the first MMA death, already happened in a smaller show. I'm pretty jealous that I haven't been to a UFC event but based on this logic I wouldn't matter if I went or not. I get fall down blackout pissed drunk fight night and have to re-watch them on sunday so it's not like I'm missing much. I think.
don't think many people are as psyched on seeing GSP vs Silva anymore. Been hearing lots of chatter about Silva vs Bones, that shit would be dope, IMO
gsp did what he needed to win...
i don't agree that fighters should unnecessarily put their own safety at risk to please fans... none of these fans will be lining up to support them when they have brain damage later on in life...
gsp is just on a whole different level of professionalism when it comes to mma... that's why he's cleared out his division...
also dont forget dude is fighting the the best fighters in mma in that weight class ...just like gsp i do wanna see him get a finish..
...that fight u can tell he had horrible depth reception ...wild over hands that were missing ....maybe he woulda got a ko...if he had is eye back..or it coulda ended it the same....
he shoulda kept it on the ground .....one thing is for sure...gsp cant be taking down...the best wrestlers in his weight class cant do it ...
over all ufc 129 was crazy ...gsp did make me go o shit a couple times.....if every thing go's down nick diez will be next...thats if nick doesn't go to boxing...
i def wanna c gsp vs silva ....
dude are you drunk?
no i just woke up tho...y .....was it my wording or the subject matter
lol your wording, all good though. I'm just fuckin around
haha i wrote it thinking about breakfast so i was rushing ...and coffee
working on 3 hrs of sleep ... ..some times i work night...and morning time hits ...my body tells me hey its 8 am lets get up ...
updated it ..deleted some of the double words and some of the nonsense .i couldn't even make out haha
how do you guys rank the welters? i doubt anyone else could keep a match with shields standing that long which plays into jake's hands... but obviously koscheck, fitch, alves, penn etc have their own strengths... johnson looks to be the biggest underachiever so far...
lol you mean Rumble? Good mid-tier fighter but will forever be the Rich Franklin of w/w division. Kos is still a one dimensional wrestler with very basic, rudimentary stand up in predictable patterns, fitch is very much the same, enough stand up to get him close put his hands around you and molest you on the ground, alves is a brilliant striker with crap for counter wrestling and (lol) crappy sub defense (see alves vs fisher for details) Only one on the list I'm not really sure of is BJ, he's small for the division but much like Frankie Edgar it seems to be an advantage. If you could put Phil Baroni's aggression in BJ's body he'd never loose. at any weight. IMO
Nick Diaz is down to fight gsp...nick puts pro boixing to the side for the fight
looks like it will be nick diaz vs gsp ...i like that fight...
with silva fighting jon jones ..if he wins this up coming fight ...looks like we will have to wait next year for a silva vs gsp
for gsp after diaz..their will be no one els to fight..as he has beating all the great fighters at his weight class..dominating every fighter...even if he isn't finishing the fight,,,the fighters who face gsp cant even get 1 round on him except shields who got 2 rounds ending gsp's round winning streak...32 rounds straight no one could touch gsp ...32 rounds straight not one of the top 10 fighters in mma could touch gsp
also its been a very long time since some one has put him on his back
with a nick diaz fight i dont think nick will try a ground game as nick has been out boxing every one he has fought ....sounds like what gsp is is doing...but gsp will be able to take down nick with ease if gsp wanted to take it to the ground......i would like to see more ground work from gsp in the later rounds
sounds like im a gsp fan..its because i am
they're still great fighters though... no one is anywhere near the perfect fighter, some just utilise their strengths better than others... i think in the ufc at the moment, shields is the number two welter ahead of koscheck (fitch is a smotherer to me... a takedown shouldn't count for anything if all you're going to do is drop your dead weight on a guy for three or four minutes)...
i agree with what you say about johnson as he stands but i still think it's because he has underachieved... whether it's because he's fighting too low or is ill disciplined, i don't know... he still potentially could move up in the ranks...
gsp will sweep diaz... shields didn't deserve a round in that fight (not that gsp destroyed jake, he was just more aggressive and precise)... i'd actually like to see jake get another crack sometime down the line...
georges is awesome but the later the silva fight takes place the better... if gsp fights silva next, silva wins by a brutal tko early in the fight... gsp should tune up against at least one tough but beatable middleweight before he goes after silva...
