lol. nice comparison.
Makalele is awesome at breaking up attack and winning tackles in defensive positions but to be honest he loses possession as much as he wins it back, always dwelling on the ball and getting caught out, happened 3 or 4 times yesterday.
Sod Phil Neville, i'm dissapointed Kleberson has finally gone (tho i don't blame him for wanting out)
-
Re: European Football thread
dissapointed kleberson went? lol u the only man u fan i know who says that,, he didnt have a terribly good time with u.. but most man u fans want him to go.. why did u want him to stay?
i wouild have rather had him than neville!
i feel so scared v villareal tomorrow. they gone own us :(
-
Re: European Football thread
because he's the best passer of the ball in the league (along with gerrard and xabi alonso) and he was victim of being media hounded just like seba, media ratings are always ridiculous (lampard 12 out of 10 every game, kleberson -2 out of 10 every game) he didn't actually ever have a run in the team - 3 games in row most? admittedly he was injured a lot but he is classiest player we had and best player to come in if scholes injured - he'll be another forlan - great elsewhere when he gets a decent chance........i still think he's as good a player as ferguson claimed when we bought him, though Fergy never gave him the chance.

but if he don't play tomorrow night, you can bet he's gonna be sold.
if he starts the game, he's staying at OT.

Re: European Football thread
Peoples predictions for the top 4 this season?
Mine is;
1. Chelsea
2. Man U
3. Arsenal
4. Tottenham
Some may laugh at Spurs in 4th but they really have a good chance this season, with Davids, Defoe on form and Martin Jol i think they can do it... although it pains me to say ;)

I saw the Marseille Intertoto cup goals last week, they were very good. Marseille look like they have a very good strong and fit team this season, hopefully they'll be back to there old mid 90's glory years soon.
-
Re: European Football thread
marseille should perform better in the league, played two matches lost them both.
-
Re: European Football thread
If Marseille had Prso in there team they would win every game.

We'll see how good Prso is against the Legendary Mystical Temuri Ketsbaia, player coach of Rangers Champs League opposition and reigning 'World Advertising Hoarding Demolisher'

Of course I enjoyed these goals *D ... and we all liked the fact he screamed "allez l'OM" after he scored... last season I won't say he was disappointing but I think he needed to be used to english championship that's why I think this year he'll be at his best...
Concerning Marseille the beginning of the season is pretty disappointing , but sunday OM/Lyon, it will be a real test....

No seriously, Prso ain't shit ... but it's true I haven't been seeing him since he plays for the rangers so maybe he's very good in the scotish league but I don't like that kind of slow heavy striker ... (if you want we give you Luyindula for free ) O:|

For fucking sure. 36 goals in 39 champions league matches or whatever it is, fucking awesome.
If he keeps fit, doesn't get injured, hello Golden Boot.
Just have to say (AGAIN...) GIUSEPPE ROSSI IS GOING TO BE AWESOME
-
Re: European Football thread
-
Re: European Football thread
rossi needs a couple more seasons to mature he's got the making of a good player though
not really sure what to make of man u right now seems like they have a ok team but something missing for the formula
perhaps time will tell
no offence to chelsea but i hope somebody else win it this year.
peace

Re: European Football thread
nistelrooy is past it, he was wicked but has lost his pace and some of his finishing it seems
man yoo shouldve sold him to madrid when they were offering money that woukd make him a profit
-
Re: European Football thread
nistelrooy these days only seems to score of tap in from deep inside the box. he would have to be the most prolific sherry picker the game has ever seen.
-
Re: European Football thread
nah Nistelrooy will be up again with the top scorers this season, hes looking sharpe in pre season.
And hes always scored his goal in the box, dont think hes scored 1 outside the box at Man U. Hes a real goal poacher. And i can see Man U finishing 2nd this season... behind the Blues.
-
Re: European Football thread
Ruud has always got all his goals from deep inside the box, so in fact there's no change there.

Park is a very smart recruit, Rooney+ Van nistelroy with park behind it's gonna hurt ... And when you see the quality of Man U's defence I think they have a well balanced team ... it can sound crazy but I think they'll win the premier league this year (sorry 36th :Y )
