NFL Chicago Bears defensive end Gaines Adams was pronounced dead this morning of unknown causes, reports the Greenville News.
Gaines, 26, was rushed to South Regional Hospital emergency room after complaining of "health issues" reports the NFL official website.
He was pronounced dead of unexplained causes at 9:00 a.m. this morning.
Gaines was reportedly in perfect health.
The sheriff's office and the coroner are reportedly actively investigating the unexpected and tragic loss of this young athlete's life, reports FOX news.
