And if making fun of Christians is fair game, then making fun of any other religion is fair game too. Long post but I am compelled to defend myself. I don't expect many waste time to read this.

First, I will prelude this by honestly saying that I respect Hal and all the people who comment here. I respect Wu-Tang as musical artists and the charity work they've done and respect the fact that this is Cilvaringz' website. And I respect the moderators who Cilvaringz has entrusted to be moderators.

My ideas, thoughts, religious views, politics, opinions and comments are not reflective or representative of Wu-Tang or the owner of this website or others who come to this website. They are merely my own.

That said, I am not scared of hurting people's feelings or making them upset by challenging their ideas or opinions or religious beliefs or political beliefs. Frankly, people's emotional reactions to my opinions, beliefs and ideas are not something I concern myself with when I comment. I don't go out of my way to offend people here. I try not to engage in personal attacks and if I ever did it was probably just a failed attempt at being funny or teasing that didn't translate well. If you're offended because I criticized a Wu-Tang song you liked, or liked a Wu-Tang song you don't like, or criticized your religious beliefs or criticized your political beliefs, well, I'm actually not sorry unless you can persuade me that I misrepresented something, in which case I have enough humility and honesty to admit when I am wrong.

If that's the case, then debate me and explain why something I believe is horrible, reductive, or dumb. Show evidence to support that claim. It is quite possible some things I have said over the course of nearly 3,000 comments were indeed dumb or horrible. Especially over the course of nearly 15 years commenting here, sometimes sparsely. B-Dolo challenges my politics and does it civilly and I like the debate. I went years without taking any interest in engaging in politics. It is indeed a controversial, divisive subject to discuss as well as philosophy and religion. It's easier to censor me or ignore me or delete my comments then actually win a debate against me. I get it. I wouldn't discuss politics if I wasn't well researched, able to win the debates and back up my comments with evidence, or capable of accepting I am wrong when I am wrong (and sometimes I am). I try to avoid discussing subjects I don't know much about, or at least avoid trying to market myself as an authority on subjects for which I can't defend what I say.

You guys asked me to isolate my political commentary in the general chat section. Out of respect to forum veterans and the forum itself, I have for the most part abided by that request with few transgressions.

This isn't my forum. And the primary subject here is Wu-Tang. I don't write the rules and I respect the rules.

In fact, most of the time I am in contrary to the status quo here, not only in politics or religion but often on the subject of what music I like or which Wu-Tang songs I like. I didn't come here seeking out like minded people on any other subject than Wu-Tang. I am not a follower. I'm not scared of being called names. I'm not scared of being called racist, which is merely a baseless weapon that demoKKKrats attempt to use to short circuit what could otherwise be a productive debate. My half black children tell me they love me every day and their acceptance and love and affirmation is all that matters to me. They don't think daddy's racist. The United States Department of Census considers me a racial minority myself, not a racist white supremacist. Strangers on the internet who think I am racist for supporting Trump calling me racist doesn't hurt my feelings in the least bit.

If politics are too toxic to discuss, or religion is too sensitive a topic, then we can make the subjects off limits even in the general chat section. Wu-Tang fans never struck me as being a wimpy, sensitive bunch of people. We can return to gay jokes, photo shopping dicks in peoples mouths, posting pornography and other pointless banter that arguably was toxic garbage in the general chat section. Frankly, I like for my ideas, thoughts, opinions, and comments to be challenged, refuted, debated, or even ridiculed. I don't like them being censored, though. I am not above criticism or immune from debate nor are my opinions etched in stone or my philosophy too rigid to be persuaded. Nor are my ideas or thoughts or opinions necessarily better than anyone else's. I don't purposely try to seek out like minded people. I don't like circle jerks of like minded people merely confirming each others biases. I could go over to Breitbart and circle jerk with other Republicans and never be challenged on anything I say.

People post comments about Ice Cube albums despite him making songs about killing Koreans or calling white women cave bitches. The misogyny in rap music doesn't seem to have offended most people here. The fake moral outrage seems to be selective and cherry picked, full of double standards and inconsistencies. Dr. Dre is accused of hitting women but you're still going to listen to your NWA album. Certainly you could find musicians with higher moral standards than your standard rapper. So why pretend to be the arbitrator of all that is right versus wrong?

Or is it that the thread joking about Hitler's mustache was actually taken seriously by someone here who goes out of their way to feel butthurt? Comedy isn't allowed anymore in a politically correct world because weirdos would rather go out of their way to be offended than laugh because most jokes require that someone be a butt of the joke? Frankly, there's not enough REAL legitimate racism in America for the people who like to hustle race to stay in business. That's why we need fake racial hate crime hoaxers like Jussie Smollett or Bubba Wallace, or making Trayvon Martin or Michael Brown racial issues when they weren't at all. Only 14 unarmed blacks were killed by police in 2019, which is used as justification for Black Lives Matter protesters murdering 32 people in just 3 months.

Give me another 40 days to banter about politics in just a few threads in general chat and then I can shelve it until the next election cycle and put my energy and time to focus, learn, and discuss other subjects.
