^i thought maria hill was the leader of the og avengers (are spider-man and wolverine still part of that team)?
yup
i hate my life, spent the whole weekend looking for batman and robin..to no motherfuckin avail
i havent picked up in a couple of weeks. marvel vs capcom 3 is crack.
batman and robin wasn't that great....flash, asm, superboy, secret warriors, wolverine were all better reads imo...gleason was boss, but it looks like he toned down the stylization of his art a great deal.
wolverine #1000 was surprisingly good though
regardless, eloels..still want that issue, i still havent even read the last fuckin issue of detective comics..cant find it no where..or izombie
^damn...you don't have a pull list with your store?
i dropped i,zombie after #5...mistake? i'll probably buy the trades
still haven't started reading the 'gargantua' book though...and i'm trying to track down the madman/superman crossover but can't find it
anybody read this?

I just recently started reading comics again.I got a lot of my old ones back and then started getting new titles like kick ass and this
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Boys_%28comics%29
I also got another dynamite title - the army of darkness. first issue was ash saves obama
I want some gritty shit though like anti-super hero.last time I was reading comics , image started and my favorites was Spawn and Deathblow and Pitt and savage dragon.
^the illuminati series is good, but it's tied into to so much stuff...if you read that you'd best be prepared to read all of brian bendis' avengers titles from like 2004 to now plus house of m, civil war, secret invasion, and seige in order to get the most out of it...on its own, its pretty good, but as part of a larger tapestry it's more engaging.
if you want gritty antiheroes and don't necessarily care about costumes check out these

also, if you like 'the boys', you'd probably like garth ennis' 'preacher' series and his long run on 'the punisher'
oh! did anyone read 'infinite vacation' #1 from image? awesomesizznauce
I'm gonna peep that uncanny x-force first. It sounds really good. All the ones you put up sound dope though.Good lookin out.
You think its better to just buy novels instead of looking for the issues?
Because , I was looking for detective comics #666 and can't find it in my city. Its the knightfall series where Bane fucked up batman and there was that replacement batman that was Azrael??? anyway I couldn't find it but I could always cop a Novel of the knightfall series cuz I think I seen one in borders before.
ever read that Batman vs Spawn? Also on Image I used to read Maxx and I'm fixing to go back and get all them even if they don't write Maxx anymore.
^there's no maxx series anymore, i think it's all in paperback
and i would recommend getting the collections instead of the individual series, unless you're jumping into new stuff...the x-force series is only on issue #4 so you might still be able to catch up on those
and the detective comics issue is in the second knightfall graphic novel i think.
ya i have the dc and the image batman/spawn comics...neither one was that great, the image one was hilarious though
anyone read the last knight & squire? dope eloels. and new avengers sucked btw
DWAYNE MCDUFFIE DIED!!!!
a loss to the world of comics and animated comic adaptations.
mr. mcduffie passed away due to surgery complications.
he rebooted deathlok for marvel.
he was a co-creator of the milestone universe for dc, helping bring diversity to their lily white universe. statik shock was one of those characters.
and he helped write a lot of dc universe animated projects such as justice league unlimited, justice league:crisis on 2 earths, the new all star superman adaptation and more, im sure.
a true talent and a huge loss to us comic fans. your already missed.
R.I.P. DWAYNE MCDUFFIE.
Rip
I got the statik shock books
Static n0.1 is still a good read.
