aside from morrison on action comics, the only new dc books that interest me are the 'horror' ones (jl dark, swamp thing, etc)

thx man, eloels, and ya those dark themed books seem boss, the only flashpoint tie ins im into are the frankenstein one, and the secret 7 one tbh

stan lee charges almost 50 bucks for an autograph. i remember i almost saw him fall down at a con a couple years back lol.

IGN had Scott Snyder on their podcast yesterday, and he confirms that as far as Bat mythos go, everything is still intact, "no magic wand" is being waved here, nothing is going to be "moot." He also mentions that Swamp Thing's past books still happened, and they'll be mentioned in his ST book. He also says that this wasn't DC going for a "reset button" on everything.

the green lantern movie looks terrible to me, no way i can bring myself to check it out lol (and i thought first class blew thor out of the water)

i just re read the first 7 Doom 2099 comics, some real dope stuff in there. next imma move to Punisher Warzone

the main ,and pretty much, only reason i would recommend that comic fans go see green lantern is not cause its a great flick (its not. its mediocre at best), but because they set it up for a sequel at the end thats THE FUCKING MOVIE THEY SHOULD HAVE MADE IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!
homeboy didnt suck as bad as hal jordan as i thought he would. he actually reigned in his super sarcasm a bit.
the chick who played carol ferris was horrible, though. nice tits, but cant act worth dog shit. just really really bad.
more training with sinestro & kilawog would have made the movie 10 times better.

dc spent a shitload of money on this fucker. most went on the marketing. and if the sequel stayed off of earth, it might actually be a damn good movie. but the after the main credits scene kinda pissed me off. they really should have done that to begin with.

(i wont say what it is as to avoid spoilers. but its pretty easy to figure out if your even half a green lantern fan.)
