Austin Collie just went down on a hit that wasn't even vicsious...its a contact sport. Big hits have been happening as long as the game has been played.
The only reason its an issue now is because Goodell made it a huge issue.
THe rule is foggy and often misinterpreted.
Most players dont even like it. No matter what rules they change, there will always be injuries, big hits, etc.
