I saw a friend of mine yesterday who just came back from a 4 to 5 month trip that took him from Colombia via Panama and California to Florida.
He loved the feel of people not putting down roots in Cali and FL, esp. with people not caring too much about permanent housing solutions, having side jobs like Uber etc. It looks like there's a lot more regional and economical mobility in (parts of) the US when compared to down here.
He also said women in Florida 'have no sexual morals' lol, which us fine by him because he is a chronical philanderer.
I was surprised to hear just how little paperwork there was to fill out to buy property in FL. (I guess it's the same all over the US)? There's way more red tape down here.
