Jeremy Renner for sure but some reason I don't really see Hardy as an action star despite his massive frame. He generally does more drama, more of a method actor. Saying that though my opinion might change after I see him in the new Mad Max movie.
i wonder why Gerard Butler doesn't get mentioned when talkin about new action stars. i think he should definitely be in the next one.

Law Abiding Citizen wasn't my thing, and I didn't even bother with Gamer......otherwise I've seen him in 2-3 chick flicks (at the wife's request) and all I could picture was him screaming "THIS IS SPAAAARTAAAAAA!"
