They made apocalypse look like the blue chick from The Fifth Element, he looks horrendous!
I kind of expected Apocalypse to look like utter shit, so I'm not terribly shocked or disappointed.

This looks ok so far other than Apocalypse who just looks completely out of place imo. He looks like Apocalypse if this film was made in the 80's. I predict this will be the worst of the prequel series of films.

I did like the other two better. This felt a bit like a Michael Bay movie. Lots of action with somewhat of a story mixed in there.
But it had some great moments too. I'd give it a 7/10 on first viewing.
Seen it yesterday. Not bad, but nothing special. I miss a superhero movie experience along the lines of Nolan's The Dark Knight trilogy - great cinema, no superpowered beings.
^Pretty much how I felt. I expected worse tbh seeing as the advanced reviews were calling it the worst X Men film ever made. I thought the Magneto scenes were the best, some glaring plot holes and an unimaginative storyline let it down though.Quote:

I agree that a Batman kinda movie works better on the big screen. The Avengers however works well too although they are more human aswell. Except for the big green guy of course.
I saw the previews and I saw hot lightskin black woman Alexandra Shipp played Storm who is the character Halle Berry played in the other X-Men movies. Alexandra played in the Aaliyah movie about the r&b singer who died young in a airplane crash.
