I agree with Tony Abbott (Prime minister of Australia) When he says :"if your are a genuine Refugee, you should go through the proper channels if you want asylum". These people on the other hand, are just trying to "Force" their way in. IMO because the are not real refugees, just people who decided they don't want to live in their countries no more. Also I agree with Australia's hardline approach, you must not reward people for doing the wrong thing( I believe the boat people, are almost as equally responsible as the people smugglers, because they are the ones who want to do this, the people smugglers are just enablers, to some degree).

Theres a crisis because people just can't live in Syria or Libya anymore add to that the people from Afghanistan and random North African countries fleeing and you have this already huge problem becoming an even bigger problem as the number of people fleeing has increased.
Syria's neighbours can no longer take in more Syrians, in Turkey there are more than 2million Syrian refugees only a few live in the tent cities most have spread across the country and most likely will not leave. Istanbul alone has some 400,000 Syrians the streets are filled with Syrian child beggars and its easy to find entire families living in the streets.
Now that the neighbouring countries simply can't cope Syrians are flocking to Europe. The easiest way to solve the problem is to get to the root cause of it, however nobody wants to get their already dirty hands any dirtier.
