as in Sony's PS4 controller? I was pretty sure you can use the actual PS4 controller on PC. I use it on my macbook to play games on OpenEmu

another reason ive steered away from PC. I already work 6 inches away from a monitor 8-12 hours a day, I'm not going to do the same at home. I used to like it as a teen playing PC games all day and night, I'd much rather game on a big screen and my surround sound nowadays

minus 5 points for PC gaming

I can see playing online FPS's on a PC + monitor with the mouse precision, especially since I played the shit out of CS for years. But sitting at a computer desk a foot in front of a small monitor with shitty speakers or headphones playing offline RPGs (which I mostly play), sports games, or almost any other genre is kind of lame as fuck, I would gladly take a frame rate hit to avoid it. There's more factors into a gaming experience than frame rate and graphics. And if $50 yearly potato tax is a lot for some people I would highly recommend a job, I spend that on food every 2 days.
I guess nothing would prevent me from building a PC and still hooking it up to my main TV though, that's the only way I'd ever bother. I already hook my macbook up that way to play PS1 games

You can hook up a PC to both your tv and a monitor. You don't need to choose. Just get two cables.

lol I see they're going to be playing to the cellphone industry's script until they're obsolete. I'm used to the big leaps of Super Nintendo to 64 to PS3, but this last release of consoles is honestly not noticeably better than their immediate predecessor. It's just a clusterfuck of buzzwords and gimmicks.
