Happy Birthday Blunted Mecha. Hope you have a good one.
So, i don't know what Gamestop had to do with it.. but thealbum.com is updated.
I bought 160 copies to contribute to the unlocking. lol

10min sampler.. is this what you get when you buy in?
It's wild that people aren't dropping $1 just for the fun of this. I've had a great time with this experience today.
Smile, have fun, enjoy life.. don't take this shit too seriously. It's been 10 years. Enjoy the ride!
It was cool to hear some of the Redman track - I don't think that one had been recorded/put online yet
The most impressive track, the one with the 300 sample, is not there. I guess Cilvaringz forgot to clear the sample with Warner Bros. :W
So they would need about 28 million to get the count down to 0.
Finally was able to register after trying several times throughout the years, what a nightmare of a forum. Not surprised the only "official" one roaming this is Cilvaringz who seems to just get defensive instead of being understanding. So here's my thoughts, at the risk of being banned, but fuck it:
1. This project was never for the people, only the guys who recorded verses were doing this to get the music out to the public. Which you know, is the purpose of this whole thing...
2. There was nothing creative about selling just one copy to a rich person with clearly no intent to ever get people who grew up with Wu Tang and supported them throughout the years to hear it, save the few people who were going to live to be a hundred years old.
3. This new way of potentially getting it released by 2050 instead of 2100 is a scam, nothing more, nothing less. With the public information and some insider info they don't even own rights to all the songs, samples are not cleared and potentially those songs are or will be remixed. This is the reason they cannot just give out anything now and it's a perfect way to scam the people. Get fans to invest, so PleasrDAO can have the money that Cilvaringz is requesting for his work, potentially clearing the samples - unlikely that's where the money is going - and buy them time to acquire the rights if anything. You would think they are themselves now liable to a lawsuit since they promise the whole album is what's being offered, when it's not. False advertisement.

4. This is not some generous service to us, not from Cilvaringz singing off on this way to get it to the public and definitely not from an NFT company who's sole purpose is to make profit. Don't let anyone fool you, it went from one terrible owner to another. And I don't believe for one second RZA or Cilvaringz is losing any sleep over this nor care if fans ever get to hear it.
5. Even if this gets released properly somehow, it will unlikely be in "original" form if that even exists.
6. Martin still has the album obviously and wouldn't surprise me if Cilvaringz or whoever else still has it with the whole "remastering" claim by PleasrDAO. Also just common sense, with all the years of blood, sweat and tears and value of this, you think I believe even for one second Cilva deleted or even detroyed everything and just have that one copy? Think again.
7. $28 million going to the artists and other people involved? Yeah sure...
8. If this was really a genuine attempt to pay the Wu what they're owed for sales and abide by the "Wu is for the children" or all people credo, then Cilvaringz and RZA would've found a way for this to be released in another way. Just admit the 88 years was a mistake, restructure the contract and go.
9. PleasrDAO using Martin's scandal in their hype video as if they're somehow any better, genuine and some morally upright company who cares about getting this to the people then that's cringe and didn't work.
10. I am so done with this whole circus, don't care unless Cilvaringz and RZA for once clear the air about this whole thing, and rather this just leaks through Martin's scummy ass then get a remixed verison in x amount of years where this company to get it wants from us, just money, nothing else.
What I have never understood is that Cilva presented this album to The RZA who respected the beats and sequencing so much that this was to be an exclusive, never to be heard album.
However, how come The RZA has never invited Cilva to produce more albums, more tracks, for the Generals and the wider members of the Wu?
Maybe Cilva can answer this, why has The RZA not invited to do more, or has he?
You really think Cilva or anyone for that matter would answer that honestly? From what I've heard some of the beats are fire, others not so much, but my guess is RZA was more intrigued by the whole art thing. The reason Cilva was never asked to do more beats is because individual members had their own producers, Cilva is not part of the original Wu family and more a guy RZA accepted as part of it and I guess his producing skills do not justify him being one of the main producers on an album. One of the reasons why this tape was never going to be truly a Wu-Tang gem. Cilva is no 90s RZA and even then + in general an album produced solely by one person is rare.
