some big media is beung nice but rap forums are destroying it since the first single. Ok for snoop and dre is basically people saying na. Ppl on YouTube think their opinion is so funding important...man stfu. There's a million ppl who think because they talk in front of a camera at home on their computer they Supposed to have stripes to speak on the quality of a project and tell ppl how to think....Dr Dre and snoop been doing this 30 years. Plus no one takes time with an album anymore. To listen a few times, soak it in. Everything is either “trash” or “gold” based off one listen. We’re in the swipe era, short attention spans.

Ok. When I listened to the album it was just released 6 hours before I woke up. Had some listens now even the instrumentals.

Album is not for me though. It was mid aa best.

The issue with dr dre is that he is as good as the producers he has around him. And for me this was not it. On rhe album he uses some kind of filters aswell that didnt help the sound either. It sounds artificial and glossy.

Then I heard Snoop didnt write most of the album himself either.

agreed. I remember when I listened to madvillain on a family vacation and didnt like it all week.

went home and smoked and was classic.

hated Nuh please too until it started to get into me because of how new it sounded

Was surprised by this too, he only has credits on four of the songs. That is really low in my opinion for an album like this.

When I see something with Muggs, I check it. Most of the time it delivers for some solid Muggs sound. It is nothing extrodinary, but it is solid Muggs in my opinion. Other than that, I don't check for Pete Rock or Q-Tip. Even Dre was sometimes weak in the last decade if you checked for the single track by him on some album. Always thought Compton was overhyped, and dropped of the face of the earth after everybody posted about it. Never check for Havoc. The last I checked from Premier it was meh with that Gangstar album.

I still check for Premo, Muggs and Q-Tip. I never check for Pete Rock or Dre. Rarely check for RZA these days to be honest. Havoc nahh.
