Shaolin Rebel 2 is another banger. Deck is coming with the lyrical fire and sounds reinvigorated.

Listening to it now. Production is solid and Deck sounds fresh.
A couple of stinkers, dragged down by a lot of terrible features - Cappa really sounds like he cannot breathe anymore and he recorded in his bathroom - but Deck brought it! Album 7/10
The album is ill actually! This might be his best album in my opinion. Let me give it a few more spins. Out of 19 tracks; I would skip 3 max. The album is 🔥. Cappadonna 's verse was unnecessary; he had zero energy. The track is dope though. So far the album is 8.5 for me ! It might be higher later on.
15 tracks would have been enough for this project. I'm not feeling "Up at Night", "Burgundy", "The system" (the chorus ruins it) and "Explicit Material" the production could have been better on this Czarface track. Minus these 4 tracks i would have rated the album 9/10.
These guys are almost 60 years old. At this stage of their careers do not expect them to match their earlier projects. Deck is still lyrically sharp and proves it on this album. PA Dre is pretty dope as a producer. I hope this album gives him more exposure as a producer.
BTW "Day in the life" deserves a remix with Killah Priest. Deck needs to make it happen!
