Masta Killa
"Ladies looking at me like 'Damn, you lookin' right! / I'd love to give you some of this pussy AND I'M A DYKE!'" HAHH! nice.
GZA
"Hotel, motel, Holiday Inn / Overlooking that Bible she continue to sin." He sounds so bored on that verse though.
U-God
"Fuck that bitch if your wife don't write ya / Cancel her and buy another one just like her." Haa
RZA
"You say he's purely philosophical, yet you call on him on your deathbed while you lay in the hospital."
And the most honest, revelatory line from what might be the best verse (?) on "Life Changes":
Deck
"You were calling for help, kid. 'Shoulda, coulda, woulda' - at the time I was selfish."
and Masta's is very good too
"My brother's dead. You shouldn't play like that. Is this another prank to get the family cranked?"
When GZA says "I think about him on this song and what he might've said." I cringe a little bit. It's a song in memoriam of Dirty. Why would he be on it?? How could he? He should've checked himself a bit on that one. Whatever. I get what he means.
The only problem I have with that song is RZA's monopolizing it. They all say great things but they're limited to a few bars. It keeps the verses tighter, with the quality control and all that, but really RZA made it seem like what he had to say was more important. Maybe they were the closest, I don't know.
And Ghost is wrong for not being on that track, man.
I thought the best verse (had it been included) on the whole album would've been INS on "Watch Your Mouth".
I get it in like Tim off the glass
"Slander my name, I'm like the Prez sending men off to blast."
[RZA]
Aiyo, RZA, Meth, GZA, Deck, Ghost and Chef be cashing checks
Killa, Cap be snapping necks, Street and 'Zilla flash the tech
Sacrifice a savage life, if he trying to bag my ice
Tag a price on merchandise, tell me, is it worth ya life?
Gza from Rushing Elephants:
We criticize producers til they joints are right
Then acupuncture the track with pinpoints of light
"In living proof, I'm the Wittiest Unpredictable
Most Talented rap muhfucka you ever listened to"
Killed it!
Intro to gun will go says "Get up early" imo. That's what I hear.
i know yall are gonna bug out but cappa verse on windmill
"Hittin' them from well-concealed firing positions
With explosiveness that'll make the deaf listen"
