11th chamber...you can honestly tell me that 9th prince can catch a beat on those first couple of albums???
just listen to the first song on the album
a perfect liquid flow by killa sin then - some nigga just all over the beat sounding like he just wrote his first rhyme
serious dog...when im in park and i hear some kid rhyme half the time he sounds like that...no flow just saying a bunch of words. no cadence. nothing. even when i first started i was likethat. anyone can do it -- serious man. Flowing to the beat is the harder for the most part -- a lot of people cant. shit i cant do it too well...thats why i dont rhyme anymore, lol.
enough with the "youre gay" -- cause i have my opinion. its kinda old man.
if your refering to Dress To Kill, which is one of my favorite Killarmy tracks, which i just listened to 5 minutes ago, I feel like 9th Prince came in very well.
Yes his style is kinda rampant, but for the miliarty/killing/agressive atmosphere that they bring, he fits quite well. Plus lyrically dude is on point
ehhh i just cant listen to that shit. its mad annoying. the exact opposite of what an MC is supposed to do. With all the people tryna rhyme these days youll never hear someone like that make it in any hiphop circuit. in fact -- you would have never heard from him if he werent a certain someones brother =)
That Killarm Style Back Then Shitted On Your Style Back Then
I Bet You Sounded Like The Kid From Terminator 2 Edward Furlong When The First Killarmy Album Came Out
no -- im actually pretty dope lyrically -- better than a lot of MCs out there but my voice and flow was never on point though I did gain a lot of recognition in my neighborhood through it. actually my producer went on to do a ton of tracks with known artists you probably jerk to, and is real close to getting in the door. I make beats now though, lol.
Get anything with a "W" on it !
Or anyone affiliated with The Wu.
Listen to the Intro to Wu-Forever Disc 2 :
All the guys The RZA shouts out...
Killah Priest
Holocaust
Are essential for me...The two greatest Emcees alive.
holocaust isnt soo much wu tang. i mean hes friends with wu tang members. and did shout them out a couple times -- but hes just one of those guys who came in with wu and then did his own thing. Hes nasty as fuck -- i just sometimes question his beat selection. I love the warcloud shit.
and yes i know the "w" is on his latest album...but still. I dont even consider new hell razah music "wu tang". theyre on their own solo shit tryna make ends meet these days.
Warcloud Makes 9th Prince Sound Like Nas
Holocaust Had Like 3 Or 5 Ill Verses, Then Did Acid And Turned Tony Homo
Legend Of The Liquid Sword is the second best GZA album cop that.
I agree...
"I Came From The Wu-Tang Academy"
As did many great emcees.
All the Killa-Bees are unique compared to your everyday rapper.
I was just saying to the guy that the affiliates are definatly worth checking...
Like look how 9th Prince & Holocaust just got viewed...
"There Are Many Of Us"
Thats what I meant.
The whole Wu-Movement is emense.
And obviously certain heads are gonna feel certain emcees over others.
The Wu has something for everybody.
PEACE
Thanks for all the recommendations. I will try my best to check them all out, it's gonna take a minute though lol.
