cause that's were african americans are from and tend to think features specific to them are 'black' and everything else, even though in eastern and southern africa its abundant, is white.
for instance southern africans are pretty light skinned, and if someone values light skin cause they think it's attractive african americans tend to think that person hates black skin and wants to be white, when really they wanna be a light skinned black person.
i think so. for the most part i think everyone wants to reach an equilibrium. i like nappy head whores and dark whores so not so much me and you'll always find exceptions but every race kinda just works to reach the middle when it comes to cosmetics and what's generally accepted as attractive.
black ppl think light skin is cute, but they dont wanna look micheal jackson white, so yeah.
Look at you have you ever even been to Africa you dumbass? There are just as many light skinned black people in eastern and southern Africa as western and Central Africa, if there is anyplace in Africa you should discriminate its Northern Africa where there aren't any black people just arabs, what the hell do you think is different between southern Africans and western Africans that their dicks are bigger?
I just shaved off my mohawk. I'm back to the damn near skinhead look right now but i'm thinking of growing it all out.
But either way, when my hair is long I just let it do what it does. I mean, I use conditioner and shit cuz if I'm gonna have hair, I'm gonna have nice hair but other than that, I don't fuck with it.
Neither of my parents have straight hair.. my pops got nappy hair ... I'm just glad I was born with straight hair :) (thanks God, you're the man ^O^ )
idk why ppl act like having nappy hair is being crippled. the post above is boarderline retarded.
its different for girls....its all about the styles. Styles which, in this white dominated pop culture, favor straighter hair.
Hence the whole good hair bad hair thread creation by Winters.
some people don't understand stigmas.
which is what the good/bad hair issue is about.
yes black people think str8 hair is like being crippled because thats what everyone was taught and reinforced for hundreds of years.
people need to learn certain shit when they come to this country before they open their mouth.
the 60/70s afro was a rejection of that brainwashing. the afro was a statement, not just a hairstyle.
