There's no hunger in this dudes voice! yeah he can write punchy lyrics and ghostwrite etc or whatever but the people who listen to commercial radio music on a day 2 day basis are young bucks and seldom adults here n there. with THAT beine stated, these select group of people arent in tune with the kind of music we are aware of "underground" n shyt... so they're version of dope so called hiphop artists are the ones posing on radio n video now... so i can see some sort of view where rae's opinion is coming from according to that aspect.

I'm not a huge Drake fan but he shows that you don't have to be a street nigga to be somewhat lyrical on the mic. Hip hop already has a bunch of fake street niggaz in the game why would you want anymore? Some guidelines as to what is and isn't hip hop should be made at least by the veteran artists who've made at least 1 classic, but I don't believe on trying to force any beliefs on another person. You either like the music or you don't.
