Although this basically just says what a lot of you guys have been saying already, this should be the definitive answer to end all this discussion. This comes directly from Rza from page 53 of the Wu-Tang Manual:
"Today, I'm not a Muslim. I'm not a Buddhist. I'm not a soldier of any one religious sect. I realized you can never put a circle around the truth and say that it belongs to one sect. I'm a student."
If Christian he couldn't be known as the RZA anymore; Ruler Zig Zag Zig Allah. I'd lose all respect for any Wu general if they converted though.
doesnt matter knoldegse is withing self
who really gives a shit what faith he is, he can switch to judaism for all I care.....since when did a musician's beliefs become important?
1: He says in the manual what his beliefs are
2: Listen to the lyrics on BOAP, he isn't a Christian..."people been lost on the cross for decades"

For sure. Jews...
I don't follow any religion but I do take bits and pieces outta everything that is related to God... I do believe that God is the Creator of the universe witch makes him the creator of all things from A to Z.
If, just if, with all the sense of the world thrown out of the window and going down the rabbit hole with Alice and me, will you for a sec, RZA turned Christian. Imagine that, and he taking the whole group with him. In a sudden change of events they would sell all just keeping their needs and started producing Christian Rap in the sense of Wu-Tang. You see where I'm going with this. Can you see RZA on sunday morning in the crystal church?
Well my guess is that their records sales would go double myrrh. Every album they would do would sell. Their fanbase wouldn't be so bitchy. Concerts are going to be sold out. And distribution would not be a problem.
Besides Christians are not the most devoted downloaders of music like the hiphop community is. So there would be a severe decline in loss of sales in the download approach of the business.
All in all everything would just pay out for them if they went down this road. Not taking content into context.
They could even turn Scientology. Only that would make them Jumpin Couch Clan. And so far I've read the sales of things related to the Scientolgy following isn't the most credible. Various reports of members bying multiple tickets for MI movies with Tom Cruise of buying stacks of L. ORn Hubbard books, are floating around.
In an sense though The Wu could go with them. As Wu was in their early days of bashing the critics, Scientology still is. Just ask the journalists who dared to write on teh subject. Their whole personal life was dissected by private detectives of the Science. With a back up of an enormous lobby of lawyers.
Also Isaac Hayes is one of them.
*turns on John Lennon

*(:) he must be christian
Really who gives a shit
what dose it matter ?
Who Cares, Long As He Droppin Sick Joints
well, the confusion is not new.
it looks like everybody in the Clan is religiously schizophrenic. i think they don't know what a religion is...
Does One's True Belief Really Matter In The Everyday Lives Of A Fan? Or Should We Just Be Happy For Whatever The Artist Chooses To Do? As Long As He Makes Good Music And We Support Him, Why Are We Meddling Around His Personal Life? Whehter He's 5% , Catholic, Christian, Judist, Budist, Athiest...what Does It Matter? At The End Of The Day He Makes Good Music And We Support Him...that's That....
The article doesn't say RZA is Christian. The Birth of a Prince album is a RZA album, to move away from the wild, hedonistic Bobby Digital ego. Get it? The Birth....See The Joy. Even Digital Bullet was leading to the change...Be A Man.
RZA...resurrecting the dead...if they listen to the lyrics.
GO JESUS!
(i know this is bs though)
i would like rza to become a buddhist during makin the cure :)
all religions come down to the same thing to help u become a better man
i have never read anywhere in the bible that tells me that i must make war with non believers & become rascist that's some dumb shit
it would be nice to have some christians in the wu-tang espeacialy rza but who really cares even if his a satinist as long as he can drop those killa beats & wicked verses that's all that matters.
Religion does nothing but divide and has caused and is causing a whole lot of bloodshed. None of that helped Man. Relgion is based on fiction. Period. From Greek Mythology, to Roman Mythology, Tribal religions, Christinan Mythology, Islamic Mytholgy, etc.
So you would still listen to these peoples even when one of them was a baby sacrificing satanist worshipper dirking the blood of the y9oung and living. While having sex with corpses.
Religion is the opium for the people, but whodeclares that we cannot use opium? And what if it's all mythology. Ever sine our birth we are told stories with morals. Does it matter that some people believe in it and get something better out of it. And it helps them get on and cope with life.
that website is not accurate, didn't RZA get divorced this year and he has 4 kids w/his ex-wife, so two kids is false.
the white man is the devil . The black man is the original being.
wise words indeedQuote:
wisdom is wisdom...no matter where the wise man come from
I've always thought the flaw was in the followersQuote:
im born into christianity but im not a follower in any religion as i think religion is the cause of most wars and prejudicies like bigotry, racism etc. i follow my own beliefs to respect everybody as we are all the same, though i also accept alot of different aspects from each religion, but as a whole all religions are flawed imo
Ghost was handin out cold cuts and bread when I saw him in concert. Probably wouldn't of happened if he was vegetarianQuote:
I also heard somewhere that Ghostface was vegetarian.
I'm not a vegetarian, but I like to eat a lot of salad and healthy food rather than junk. If I have the option between, say salad and pizza, i'd choose salad. If I'm snacking, i'd rather have a sandwhich than crisps or chocolate or whatever. You feel a lot better if you eat healthily.
As for religion, I don't follow anything. I believe there's some kinda God, or unworldly power, but we don't know what it is so we can't go worshipping Gods that we aren't even sure exist. Most of it is to do with science, but I believe in life after death, and that's what the Gods do, they study people and depending on their actions in life, depends what happens to them after life and that's what the Gods decide.
Yeah, Ghost isn't vegetarian. As far as I know, just Masta Killa and RZA are vegetarians.
maybe that's why that album was so weakQuote:
RZA became a Christian during the making of the album Birth of A Prince.
RZA is and orthodox Jew, Check the curls............................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. ................................................an d iced out driedal

for real i thought he was either buddhist
with confician and daoist philosophy
hate to tell you guys but god makes as much sense as santa and the easter bunny, no matter what religion
