Pretentious drivel.
This is a terrible album. There are four great songs on this...the rest of it is simply boring. Really joyless.

And they bury the best beat on the entire LP at the end, for 20 seconds?
Bizarre.

Damn nigga lol.^ Classic I guess!
i cant believe there are ppl hatin on this shit...
this is one of my fav albums of all time...its only recently grew on me like that tho, i used to only listen to it for the sick Rza verses...
then i started just lettin it play n i realized that the production on this album is fuckin AMAZINGGGGGGGGGGGGGG..
for me this has gotta be 10/10...i dono what a 10 is if this album isnt..
beats are amazing (Rza, True Master, 4th, Poetic kills)..Rza is in my fav Rza personality (12 Jewelz!!!!!)...and i didnt realize how insnae Poetic n Frukwan were until givin this shit a good listen....
listenin to this shit wen im mad high i can feel my fuckin brain tingle on some of these songs....Never Gonna Come Back is fuckin amazing,,,,Poetic verse reminds me of a futuristic comic book or somethin..
This shit sucks ass, sorry but for some reason the trend on this album is that the beats dont mesh with the flows. Only two tracks sound complete Unexplained and The Night The Earth Cried. While the lyrics are well written the emcees dont really mesh with the beats like they should on most of the tracks. Alot of it sounds like it was half assed and shoulda been redone once or twice. Take Fairytalez for instance, great beat but what the fuck is with that flow on the first verse? This type of crap is repeated throughout most of the album.
6/10
10/10 Love this album.
Ive listened through the whole album about 3 times. Please dont ask me to punish myself with more. Its not like the flows and beats will go together better with further listens (unless maybe im stoned as fuck one day)
It sounds like they recorded the vocals on another beat and put it on these.
Lol
Its not only the quality of music that makes it hard to listen to... the fact that its a total disappointment compared to 6 Feet Deep is enough to make me even want to listen through this one more time.
What?! Wow... Wu fans that don't like this?
This album is a personal classic of mine. Start to finish.
I was actually really impressed at the way this was such a far cry from '6 Feet Deep'. It's like it made both albums shine brighter for me. I reckon I woulda been bored with the whole style of the previous album in hindsight.
10/10, no worries.
'The Night The Earth Cried' has to be one of my favourite tracks/clips too.

6 Ft Deep>>>>PS&S
this is the singular most "listen till it grows on you" album within the Wu-fam. A stark contrast to the first gravediggaz album, both are absolute classics to me. Elimination Process is one of the greatest Hip hop tracks of all fuckin time
I read somewhere they recored this album the same time WU was recording the Forever album, and I actually thing this is the better one of the two.
10 years later, still a classic.
this album is good but it wouldv'e been better if RZA and Prince Paul would have got more involved in it, RZA was only on half the album and Prince Paul only produced 2-3 tracks. i guess RZA was busy doing tours for Wu-Tang Forever at the time since it was 1997
wow I was sleeping on this album....mezmerizing lyrics and beats....great album for smoking weed.....Rza kills this album too with the lyrics
what's goin' on, farytalez, twelve jewelz,...
this album is an absolute classic for me
YOU FUCKERS, YOU FUCKERS, THIS BELONGS IN THE REVIEW SECTION. YOU MANIACS.
let's fucking go!!
meh
You're not a true Wu fan if you can't get with this album, period. Similar to Wu-Tang Forever (but to a lesser extent in my opinion, Forever really was that damn incredible), this album is still too advanced in today's music environment (let alone when it was recorded 10 years ago).
i get mad when people say that 6 feet deep is a classic, but they say that this one is average....people need to listen, this is an incredible album, it has my fav. RZA lines, dope beats,...
all i can say iz that i missed
gravediggaz. since the death of one(or 2) of the memberz
i waz like "damn, that meanz no more gravediggaz"
i gotta get their cdz again
the pick, the sickle and the shovel = great wu-album
I got this album in '98. I loved it. It really influenced my writing.
Yeah this is a pretty impressive piece of work I would say. Production is spotty to me in some areas, but excellent in others.
I really miss this kind of hip-hop...is there any album that is at least half as good as this one? Please do tell...
yeh, night the earth cried with the 4th production is draw dropping and dthe song with 9th is also a banger.
Definitely dope album. I gotta say though i've always liked 6 Feet Deep more, just cause of a couple problems I got with this album...
For one, I loved the crazy abstract/horrorcore aspect of the first Diggaz album so I was kinda disappointed to see that go away on this. Secondly, not alot of Rza at all. He was so ill on 6 Feet Deep with the Rza-rectah style so would've liked to see him more on this. Also the production I don't think is as tight as 6 Feet Deep. And I was reeeally disappointed at not having Prince Paul really produce anything (I think he did the outro or somethin I forget).
Still, criticisms aside, Fruk and Poetic definitely hold it down and some great lyrics throughout this album. 8.5/10 for me.
I love it... Dangerouz Minds made it for me.
a fucking classic!!!
always liked it more than 6 feet deep
tracks like 12 jewelz, fairytalez, whats going on, and Deadliest biz just cant be fucked with!
I accually prefer this album over 6 Feet Deep
