What a way to end a legacy lol
8 Diagrams was garbage, ABT is late, and so far sounds garbage, and now this has banged the last nail in the coffin, it was a good run.

Ahahahaha
Couldnt have put it better, not this mainly, but the whole Wu shit, all the trouble with 8 Diagrams, ABT been late, and Rae been a bitch (although he might be correct about the album - talk to the clan and come up with a solution instead of bitching to the media), its a pathetic end to the legacy, i wonder at times do Wu give a fuck about their fans.
Look at Cunninlynguists. They releases Strange Journey Vol. 3, which was an album basically created by the fans, CL asked who would the fans like to see on the album, so the fans all voted. And over at QN5, Kno, Tonedeff, Deacon & Natti are always on, talking to the fans and answering any questions. THATS how you treat fans, instead of giving out about the forum and the fan base, like the Wu did with this website. Its insulting, without us they would have had no careers.
As if I would let yall down... post 100... always.. keep the faith. And try to think further than a few minimalistic points.. delve into it a bit more fellas. And these aint no left over tracks or random unreleased joints.. these are actual songs recorded for this album.
Desesperate move to become famous. Cilva looks like an attention whore. Worst shit with this concept is that wu members don't cosign this project and hate the guy.
I realize this is probably a dumb question....but for the life of me, I never understood what post 100 is in reference too...can someone clue me in?
Also what was the virus reference?
I wonder if it's all just a publicity stunt.
Cause some serious controversy within the music industry and amongst the Wu fans, and then drop it at $10 a pop lol
dunno what to think when it comes to Wu no more, nothing would surprise me
Haha u guys have to calm down. Not a bad idea really. Someone is going to buy it whether an individual with too much money or a label. U guys are going to eventually hear it so stop crying.
Only 2 things are the paying for listening to it is ridiculous especially with the economy now. Also dont take a single check or payment bc then most goes to taxes haha. But its an interesting attempt at something different. Now if they take some of the money and then invest it into making more music that would be cool.
See? some more sense is being written in these last two posts
Ringz said that the idea is unique. And well, that's absolutely true. But I don't know if I like it. But also, I guess when this experience will 'drop' and it's not far from where I'm located, I'll go check it out and *will* pay for the experience. Like going to a movie in the cinema. And I guess more Wu fans will pay for this idea/experience, but the problem is: Who's a Wu fan these days anyway...?
Post 100 is perhaps a free ticket for Corp members with 100+ posts lol
Yea, I can see it

Suitors could include brands willing to shell out for cool points and free publicity (just as Samsung spent $5 million to buy copies of Jay Z’s latest album for its users) or major record labels hoping to launch the album through the usual channels (they’re used to paying top acts seven-figure advances).
So how is this going to make its way around the USA let alone the world? Heads aint going to wait forever to hear this. What its going to take a year or years for it to make its way to your town? By then dudes will be like fuck that shit. Wu tang has allways been a group whos music grows on you. Their albums take at least a week to sink in, catch the lyrics hear all the sounds in the beats. Bad fucking idea, you dickheads fucked up the Wu, "fucking coke head nigga/ what your brain numb/"
I think it's a very interesting idea, it definitely lives up to all of Ringz's hype.
The 35-50 dollar fee to listen to it in a gallery is too high though. I've worked in museums and the admission fees are never that high, you'd do better with a 20 dollar fee, 25 max. Remember that at a gallery or a museum you're paying to see the original artwork, but you can go home with a book of reproductions or an art print.
Someone could create a Kickstarter and a million Wu fans could raise the funds to release it to the public, or one guy can buy it and keep it to himself. Like I said this is very intriguing.
$30-$50 is what you spend when going to the movies nowadays. Then you wait a few months for the blu-ray to come out to purchase it for yourselves. Same difference, if you ask me. Like I said, as long as this album eventually makes its way into my iPod, I'm fine with it. What I'm trippin on is Cher being on the lead single, I need to hear this, lol.
i for one CANT WAIT to visit the gallery and listen to this album in public!!!!!!!!!!
ill even go through the line naked to ensure im not holding any recording device!!!!!!!!!!!!
this is REVOLUTIONARY!!!!!!!!!!!!
i think ALL major artists are about to do this...
50$ buy in for a one time listening experience in public!?!?!?!?!?!?
count me in!!!!!!!!!!!!
youve really outdone yourself with this one cilva...
i thought the michael jackson tribute was going to be your finest moment...
looks like i was wrong...
WU TANG FOREVER (or 25$ an hour)!!!!!!!!!!
^ hahaha
ahaha
What I read I don't like, but my gut feeling is the story doesn't reveal the full thing. Yeah Ringz is doing business now, but he's (been) a fan too and I don't think he would drop this stuff in the exclusive way it's presented just now. I suppose we'll soon figure out how we can all have decent listen to it.
I can see Jonah Hill and Seth Rogan going in to buy it or something
raekwon already shitting on it on twitter
This sounds like the most innovative musical idea I think I've ever heard. I hope this is a success, both musically and the idea of touring it as a piece of art. Good luck Cilvaringz.
please tell me this is an early April fool's joke.
Fuck Raekwon anyway.
Idea doesn't sound that bad at all. It will depend on lots of things, but i see some label buying it. It's original at least.
So all this wait and then....
More waiting.....
Waiting....
Maybe never hearing
Hope so though
When's the tour start?
I guess no release date then...
Article was informative but leads to more wait and mystery
Great idea and concept, but Wu-Tang isn't the Beast it once was. Look at the sales of the albums and you can see that no one is going to pay "million of dollars" to buy this one off album. Even if a record label were to spend "millions" on purchasing this ONE copy of the album, will they really get the money back through album sales? No.
Business is about making money. Music is about making music to spread to the masses for us to appreciate the artform.
Sadly Cilvaringz and RZA are only interested in the business side it appears, unless we are proven wrong.
i wouldnt pay $30 to hear The Cure in a public setting on headphones
who wants to listen to music in that environment, on headphones nonetheless?
lol.... biggiest bullshit ive heard in a long time, wonder what kind of shit rza is smoking and coming with this type of bullshit idias lol. good luck cilvascroudgerings.
No wonder Keep Watch was garbage when they wanna sell an album one time for millions
If I had the money I'd buy this shit. They probably sell to the highest bidder. Then I'd sell it to the fans just like the Wuki package. Same concept only bigger figures..
How will this be secure when traveling between venues?
This pretty much confirms that A Better Tomorrow is going to suck. Release the scraps to the fans that still support these dudes in 2014 without Raekwon and without RZA production and keep the real release for some Jew who only wants it for the box it comes in.
Cilva jus shoulda sold this like the wuki package....I dont see anyone paying over a mill. for a chamber musik on steroids cut and paste album. I wanted to here this album jus based on the fact that it was supposedly put together with a theme that all the generals followed but come on man....I could see if the abbot himself said hed produced it like the old days but this is cilvaringz. How many people out side of wucorp even know who he is, and his production discography isnt impressive enough for this. Im guessing this is all for shock value to get some interest in this project so that a major label might pick it up and distribute. Too bad in a couple days us wu-corpers are going 2 b the only ones that still give a shit....If this shit dont come out this year i suggest all looking forward to this album jus chalk it and get back to fuckin wit the alchemist (this generations rza)....
im pretty sure RZA already is a millionaire..
http://www.celebritynetworth.com/ric...rza-net-worth/
Is this a joke? I have to pay 30- or 50 dollars to hear this ONCE and in a gallery? wtf lol. I also have to be a millionaire if I want a purchase? smh..cream.
Preety rad idea man. Lets see how it works out
