With all the hype around this movie I can't imagine the levels of hype a remake of Coming to America would generate. The world would implode.

^that's actually a running joke among the kneegrows.
wow, audrey hepburn was not attractive at all. interesting.
lol i said this a while back, they are losing their minds over a character who's storyline they can't even relate with, how many of these cats are black kings who are billionaires, the irony is that DC is actually doing a cyborg movie who's origin story is deeply entrenched in the civil rights era and actually touches on the struggles of black people without prejudice whatsoever but they don't even give a shit about it.
the worst ones are the ones acting like this is the first black superhero movie to ever come out in history, where were these dudes when blade and spawn actually hit the theaters? lmao
its even more annoying that the very same people who were shitting on super hero movies and sci-fi are all of a sudden nut riding this movie hard..gotta admit..the over-hyping of this shit is slowly killing my interest
Did you ask who could relate with Thor and Ironman or are you just a fucking faggot? I'm trying to understand if the wider implication is that it's stupid for black people to like a movie if it's not about civil rights? Tomorrow you'll come through telling me that black people can't be racist with your audience dependent political stances. This is why you have to lie about getting signed to Loud Records
White people are deliberately giving the movie low Rotten Tomatoes ratings without seeing it. Ya'll are some miserable fucking haters dude LOL Jesus.
'Black Panther' sabotage campaign highlights how useless the Rotten Tomatoes audience score really is

Earlier tonight sources were spotting the movie between $22M-$24M, and now the thinking is that the Ryan Coogler-directed movie about Marvel’s Black superhero T’Challa will clear
Quote:
$25M. Black Panther will either beat or tie with Captain America: Civil War ($25M) as the second best Marvel preview ever behind Avengers: Age of Ultron ($27.6M). This is also easily the biggest pre-summer preview night ever, outstripping The Hunger Games ($19.7M). On the high end, it’s nearly double the $12.7M what Deadpool posted prior to its record February four-day weekend of $152.1M.

It might still beat Age of Ultron

dope
hahaha, it's true
People in this world got to much time on their hands if they get offended over stupid shit like this.
Who gives a fuck what colour a person is in 2018 some of the dumbest shit still going on in this world.
Luke cage series is dope as fuck. That Black Panther movie is great.. Thor is great.. I fucks with Hulk too even though that dude Green..
The politics of the movie aside its a good movie. It has easily one of the best Marvel villains on par with Loki. Marvel just fucking know how to do these movies.
The movie showing how the African American just totally disrespects Wakandan culture was great, i liked how they portrayed the difference and Wakandan tribal politics as well.
Its not a perfect movie, I don't think its a movie that deserves such high review scores. I thought the final fight was kind of a let down, too much CGI in these movies. Even with the scenery. I had the same complaints with Star Wars, the CGI is becoming a little too much. Couldn't they just actually go to Africa and find some nice place to film by?
As to the politics of this movie I just think its done on purpose by Marvel/Disney to hype the movie and make them loads of money. They feeding off it and now thanks to Star Wars have realised that the controversy is actually really good for their bank accounts. So its just become a tactic by Disney. I am pretty sure the fucking Aladdin live action movie gonna have the same 'controversy' around it, Lion King to.
I hope it's not as bad as DC's CGI loaded finale for 'Wonder Woman'. I liked that movie but the finale was a let down imo
wonder woman was like an episode of murphy brown
i refuse to see it this week until all the pretend comic book movie fans all go back to their little holes and the theatrics end
yeah i was surprised how busy it was still. i tried to see it 5:30pm sunday and the next two showings were sold out, even the 7pm show i made didnt have many seats left
I liked the movie from front to back. Visuals were great, good action, they dropped a few messages in there too. Michael B. Jordan had a great performance. Alot of people liked him better than T'Challa lol. I'd probably put it behind Civil War. My only complaint was the last battle between T'Challa & Killmonger had too much CGI involved. For all the undercover white supremacists on Wu-Corp. they did have one white assisting character who helped them in the last few scenes. I know ya'll rather see a white savior though....
I guess being a person who actually reads comic books, Radioactive Man is offended by all the pseudo comic book fans and posers who have never touched a comic book in their lives, but want to be up on Black Panther because it is the hot, new shit right now. I do not think he is being contrarian or anything. I copped the soundtrack today, going to give it some spins later.
^^
thank you
Graveyard Shifter is a fucking loser dude lol. Jesus. He just wants to appease whoever's reading his posts so badly and he's like 37.
Anyways. I'm glad this movie was a sneak attack lol. When I posted on here that it would do crazy numbers and nobody knew what I was talk about I kind of made me realize that there was actually a huuggeeee conversation divide between white ppl and black ppl and either side knows that the other one is saying. Ppl have been going ham about this movie since July but I'm glad the goyim didn't know because they would have tried to fuck it up had they had prep time. I saw a couple of girls post that they got 'beat up' at the movie and were exposed online. Jesus.
This movie affirmed a lot of great things business-wise about race and movies and I hope it can open the flood gates to all of the stories in Africa that haven't been touched but would fucking smash in the box office. Every story from europe has been done up and down and Asia is almost there. The middle east and africa have gems that haven't been touched. This is not counting stealing Sundiata the Lion King and making it about animals (the lion king) because a movie with black ppl based in Africa allegedly won't sell. Now that the bullshit has been shattering I'm game for what's to come.
Graveyard shifter's neck looks like he eats in the shower
Lmao you are full of shit some times dude. The original thread was created in 2014 and you created yours less than a month ago 5 minutes before the movie was released when it well and truly had the hype train faster than Mumm Ra can steal a homeless persons bowl of soup. Acting like no response to your thread on a website with 11 active members and 4 of them are American is proof that you're more connected on social issues than the wider community lol pull the other one
I agree with you about getting Middle Easter and African stories told. I don't know any African ones but there's a lot of good Islamic/Arabic tales that could be re-told with actual Arabs and Muslims instead of American crackers or others to be told for the first time.
I also think too many of you make cinema are far greater deal than it really should be though
for the record. nothing is faster than me stealing a homeless persons bowl of soup
especially if its broccoli cheddar
tsa is looking to ruin another thread with his nonsense. his home page is probably huffington post.
Cinema is a huge deal. idk what your saying, but I said the movie would do these numbers and ppl on here didn't know. Then I looked around and it seemed that nobody knew other than, for the most part, black ppl. All publications are posting it as a surprise, and I was speaking on the general gap between people because it would be like discovering 75% of the country didn't know there was record hype around Star Wars. I genuinely believe that if the goyim were aware earlier they would have derailed the living shit out of this movie, which is the consistent pattern in the US. I also don't remember making a thread.
Movies at 700 million, hasn't opened in China and Japan yet.
There's a sequel in the works! http://2dopeboyz.com/2018/02/26/kend...dio-interview/
I have to agree with Darryl. As a non comic reading white, I never even heard of this whole characters existence until black history month came around and they pushed this movie on America like the gun control debate.
You couldn’t watch a basketball game or an espn related talk show without black panther being a segment.
I thought maybe ESPN might have been an executive producer.
I don’t have any black friends but a few of my friends went to see it and they said it was good. And they’re not white guilt types who are going to say it’s good because it makes them feel better.
Years from now when it’s on Netflix, I’ll probably check it out. Maybe. Outside of Wolverine and the Batman movies I really hate superhero stuff.
I’m still trying to find out why people like Spider-Man and Ironman.
Watchmen was good though, but that was the only comic book I’ve ever read in my life.
I read it's grossed a billion by now
still haven't seen it.
I was infinitely more entertained by Thor Ragnarok recently
I hope all the actors opted for franchise rights.
