I'm listening to People Say...
This dude above me is dropping Visionz. Did we forget who Meth is?
These dudes are nasty. In their 40's.
General Principles
"I must put in time to get mine any hours to earn power" Just brilliant!
Listening Ghostface - Water Technique
the instrumental of Shelter still blows me away after all these years. I read somewhere DJ Quik flipped the same sample for a song of his too
Bumping 'The Rarest Rubiez', a collection of Hell Razah features. Good mixture of well known tracks and little heard features
don't mean to be disrespectful but this works well as background music
does anybody know whether the accompanying comic book is worth the read?
I bought it expecting it to have verses so was naturally disapointed when it was just instros
That being said if you a] like wresttling b] are curious about Czarface's origin and c] value the nastalgia of read along to cassette tape books it's worth it.
Caveat: the book/record experience can be a little hard to navigate since some of the dialogue is not on record and there is no sound to indicate when to turn the page...
Do share ur experience if you do read/listen.
thanks for the feedback. I'll see if I can locate the comic at a reasonable price over the next two months or so
listening to claaa7's RZA compilation pre-in stereo

claaa7 tapes are the illest
this vid might bring the unintentional comedy but I love the beat
60 Second Assassin Shaka Amazulu The 7th, produced by Su-Preme

DOPE! Last week was listening to the amehzing 3to6 show @ http://maximumfm.streamon.fm/ and DJ Shortcut said it was supposed to be from Detox...
yes it was considered for Detox
I think the song can be found on the mixtape Tical 0 : A Taste Of Tical Part II
2 rae tapes I got in rotation today
Still listening to wu instrumentals.

listening to claaa7's reconstruction of Ghostface's 'Bulletproof Wallets' with the original tracklist including all intended samples

Windpipe
pretty sure it was recorded for "Tical 0" around with "That Thing" and a few other songs... that J-Love mixtape you mention is FIRE!
i'm listening to "WINDMILL" right now, can't believe 8 Diagrams was released 10 years ago by now.. Damn how the time moves. personal classic by now.. it definitely held up well and stands as a solid statement. the production is some of RZA's best this side of 1997 if you ask me and all members came through big time on the lyrical tip. i can't imagine "A Better Tomorrow" will hold up all that well 10 years from it's release date, though that has some good soulful shit on there.
a neat little tidbit i came across some time ago.. who knew there was an officially sanctioned one disc version of "WU-Tang Forever" put out by LOUD in 1997? pretty fun fact considering that's one of those classic discussion points among Wu heads since '97 - what if you made Forever one disc?
it's basically just CD1 with the addition of "The City", "Dog Shit" and "Little Ghetto Boys" but still :)

Wow, never knew this, I will always prefer the 2 CD Set.
and about to watch this for the first time
^^while listening to the documentary I looked up the tracklist to World According To RZA on Wikipedia
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Wo...cording_to_RZA
and found out there are 2 versions. Never knew about that!
"The New Version contains the German song "Hotel" by Kool Savas feat. Eko Fresh & Valezka instead of "Warning" by Nap and "I've Never Seen..." is replaced with the German version of it titled "Ich Kenne Nichts (Das So Schön Ist Wie Du)". RZA's verse is not included on this track. The original version of the album is out of print and very hard to find."
apparently the old version is the one I have, which makes sense since I'm in Europe and I bought the album right when it was released
idk why but later on they changed 2 songs and that version is easy to get by. just copped the newer version on discogs for a couple of bucks. niiiice
EDIT : it always struck me as strange how no tracklist online nor the CD booklet ever mentions U-God's verse on BAMS track
as such I had completely forgotten Uey was even on the album
Yes it has its own thread(s) but this is the Wu I'm currently rocking...
