Mayweather v McGregor: Confirned

I think the fact he went ten rounds was an accomplishment. Mayweather is an all time great and a tactician so there was no question at all he could pick macgregor apart with ease.

I'm saying macgregor accomplished more because he got a payday he never would have gotten in MMA and didn't completely embarrass himself.

Anyone who expected a novice to be able to compete with Floyd was insane and just bought into the hype machine.

Now if it was Floyd and macgregor in a barroom and chairs and bottles are legal, I'd pay 100 to see that.

even though the outcome was exactly as expected it was still entertaining IMO. more so than any previous Floyd fight I can recall. At least he stuck to his word about actually boxing McGregor and not running around

That was mildly entertaining. McGregor tired himself out after the 4th round which was predictable. Didn't embarrass himself though.

And I am not 100% sure but a lot of people think Mayweather coming out wearing a balaclava was a dig at the IRA.

Also, why does every fuckin singer of the US national anthem drag it out? It sounded ridiculous compared to the Irish one. Just sing the fuckin thing

Mcgregor not only embarassed himself but mma as a whole. Dude was just flailing his arms like a pregnant girl. When youre not allowed to numb yourself on MMA grade dope and roids dude was fighting like a fucking teenager with supportive parents. What was that estrogen shit he was doing to floyds back. I dont think dude covered his chin once.

Canelo doesnt have the IQ to compete with floyd. Nobody in boxing does because he pulls the same trick 50 times and it worked 50 times

skip works in the professional sports broadcasting field and actually thought mcgregor would win by KO. retire.

also i was pretty drunk but i dont recall mayweather ever being in trouble or his knees buckling. and the stoppage was 100% fair.

Was McGregor really in trouble tho? I know he wasn't punching back but he also wasn't going down.

i think he was in trouble. he wasn't defending himself at all when the ref stepped in, if i recall his arms were completely down. not going down isnt a big factor in stopping a boxing match they get stopped all the time while standing.

ive definitely seen some super lame stops in the last year but I wouldnt criticize the ref for this one

When its all said and done, i commend both these men for what they were trying to achieve via this fight, as much a fan as i am of mayweather,can't help but be happy for mcgregor getting a huge payday outta this which will set his son's life for good, i also think mayweather could have done way worse damage to dude, as a matter of fact, i think he could have knocked him out in 2 rounds if he wanted to but opted against that and gave the guy a chance to earn his money somewhat.

if mayweather had knocked him out early,people would have still been complaining so damn if he did,damn if he didn't
