Also RZA and Math confirmed Sean P is on the album, along with Chris Rivers, Priest, and others. RZA said Math listened to 36 Chambers and Chronic 2001 to get in the production vibe for this one...
Is that a dragon on the cover....LOL.
cover is crazy dope
I'm feeling those features
good picks

Word, finally some new shit from Hue Hef, Swnkah, R. Mean, Mzee Jones.. not to mention Steven Latorre!! ;)
on a serious note, this looks good.. hope Math brings it on the production level. i liked "People Say" but it felt a bit 'tired' to me tbh both from prodction and lyrics perspective.. had my head nodding though!
stream for the new single
good point lol
I tried to find out some more about these guests
Steven LaTorre is this RnB singer I think
Hue Hef is So Staten Island of course
this is a nice Hue Hef joint imo
this is R.Mean. he's the rapper on the track, not the crooner
could not locate any Mzee Jones or Swnkah tracks on YouTube
after some more digging and going off on aliases of Mzee Jones (nodaysoffjones, apparently, according to social media) I found this feature on a Gaz The Rapper track
https://soundcloud.com/gaztherapper/morning
I could be wrong though cuz with 'Mzee' I would have expected a female vocalist
we'll know soon enough
Ok, *NO Masta Killa*, NO Gza, NO U-God
What is this?
* Correction, his on one song.
nice work with the detective skills mate
true.. this was known before, or at least that GZA and U-God wouldn't appear. it's not really a Wu-Tang Clan album though, it's more like "Once Upon a Time in Shaolin" and "Chamber Music", sort of like a cross between an album and a producer compilation.
notice the cover doesn't say WU-TANG CLAN.. just like "Chamber Music" it's prefaced with WU-TANG only.
it's like Mathematics' previous albums, only this time he got RZA to endorse it as a 'Wu Tang (presents)' album
So it's like 'Love Hell or Right', 'The Problem', 'Unreleased' and 'Return of the Wu and Friends' https://www.amazon.com/Mathematics/e...101197&sr=8-11
hmm, i see what you mean but i would still say it's much closer to a Wu-Tang album/compilation than those previous LPs considering ALL songs on here primarily features Clan members, no exception and there's only a scattered number of other guests. very good sign!
supposedly the ghostface overseen Wu-Tang album is supposed to come out sometime stillQuote:
I was expected a TRUE wu tang album after ABT...:{
yes, you are definitely right about that. it's the closest Math's come to a full blown wu album
@ num2son : supposedly the Ghostface helmed Wu Tang album that Mumm Ra referred to will be mainly or fully produced by J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League (who have produced for Rick Ross among others)
word? havent heard that. im not really familiar with their library of beats though
i think we can all agree , the way this album was released was to boycott all the sample clearences as we all know cilvaringz beats are all sample heavy... if no one can hear it they dont have to be cleared.... but in the normal world in no way in hell would the beats from this album be cleared without a lot of payments being made.... so as far as i can see... cilvarings will do as much as possible for the fans to not hear this as he knows as soon as its public hes gonna have lawsuits from all angles with all thes uncleared samples.... if i am wrong then prove me wrong ??

Looks dope. I thought there would be more masts Killa and Rae tho
Looking like a standard math release
No U-God? No GZA? Masta Killa only on 1 song? Redman on 3 songs? Wtf.....disappointing. And who the hell are these artists I never heard of? R Mean? Swnkah? Hue Hef? Are these Ice Water rejects?
“If What You Say Is Tru” f. Streetlife (Wu-Tang)
Where has streetlife been lately?
The new track is aight.....Math seems to be channeling RZA from 1995 lately which is good.....beat has the same type of soulful vibe as People Say does......which is cool, I'm kinda tired of Redman though...
What happened to the Wu on their conscious tip though? Why can't we get more tracks where they spit knowledge or teach the children like on Impossible, or Babies, or The City or CREAM type tracks.....and Older Godz and shit like that..... the track isnt bad but it's just really generic sounding to me.....Decks bars are good but there's nothing special about them. Definitely not "Triumph-esque"
Its a DJ mathematics album, this is his thing, NOT a wu tang clan album.
Rza sold it like this was a CLAN album and its NOT.
Hope fully this song has more...“If What You Say Is True” Wu-Tang Clan
My frustration is, this should/could have easily been a true Mathematics presents Wu Tang CLAN album! Where the clan is all over it, in what should be the real Wu Tang The Saga Continues. He has been there since day one!!!
Exactly. I've been saying this everywhere online and everyone keeps saying I'm wrong. I know a Wu comp cd/producer album with features when I see one. This always presented itself as such. You don't take Math with you on interviews stating he produced the whole thing and bill it as the next Wu-Tang. First of all Math would never produce a full Wu official full-length. Second of all, RZA & Ghost both put it out there in June 2016 that Ghost was in charge of the next official Wu album, and Ghost himself has stated he won't drop that until after he drops Supreme Clientele Presents...Blue & Cream: The Wally Era. So why then, would RZA come out of nowhere with Math stating this is a surprise move new Wu joint? People know this info and want to turn a blind eye to it. Smh. This a Math producer compilation cd. Nothing more. Not saying it's not worth it, Math has dope beats. Still. Tell it like it is. Don't try to do a scam marketing move to sell more copies when it's completely obvious. Don't act like we don't know that Ghost has the next Wu album that you're neglecting to mention magically, RZA. Your fans aren't that oblivious. Ps. what's up with Math's gold backpack from Gap Kids? That shit is NOT hip-hop bro.
Hue Hef is a Housegang member. Deck's sidegroup from 2006. They were featured on Resident Patient.
MORE INFO on the album in this older thread (5 pages by now) http://www.wutang-corp.com/forum/sho...Saga-Continues
@cbfwebs : thanks for the info on the next Wu-Tang Clan album dropping after Supreme Clientele presents ... Blue & Cream : The Wally Era. I didn't know. btw your posts motivate me to seek out more interviews with the generals online. thanks for renewing my interest. usually I don't like listening to interviews
@shaolinsaga : thanks for updating the tracklist
peace!
Masta Killa may be on "If What You Say Is True" since it vaguely states "WTC feat Streetlife". We don't know the lineup. Too bad we got screwed out of the "unheard verses from ODB" more BS from RZA. He probably meant "Dirtys voice will be in the skits" ala end of People Say
It's not 1997 anymore they won't be rhyming that way every time. Expecting Triumph verses from Deck is like asking a 12 year to go back to being 4 years old. Too bad we got screwed out of the "unheard verses from ODB" more BS from RZA. He probably meant "Dirtys voice will be in the skits" ala end of People Say
