For some reason in Canada, Punjabis are obsessed with hockey...there is a town outside of Toronto with their own hockey league. There's a channel you can watch NHL play by play in Punjabi. Checking google there were 3 Punjabi NHL players, one active. They're bigger than most other Indians so I guess that's their advantage.
If the day comes that India produces a top athlete in a given sport I'd guess Punjabi
