Ugod got the shittiest rza beats yet on his album. To say he dont have the potential is asanine to me when tracks like bizarre, datz gangsta and pleasure or pain exist.
Ugod feels the other groups watered down the brand. I love sunz and oillarmy but the whole wu movement was confusing to the casual fan and those guys were a major part of the “wutang fell off” narrative. Idk how many times id see these “fake” wu albums at peoples houses and being told they suck and wu fell off. People think REDMAN is wutang, to say their was no confusion is just not paying attention.

Problem with ugods album is he has 5 star joints like dayz gangsta and then 0 star joints like all the rza cuts. Rza was the executive producer and head of label. He should have cooked it longer consider chez chez was a hit months later...Decks album was consistantly average... no 5 star joints cuz rza gave them all away for other albums/artists. Decks collabs in 98/99 way hotter than his album.
