The track Crazy 8s drops tomorrow according to Remedy's twitter.
Holy shiiiiit Wu banga of the year! Dope beat and everybody sounds energized. MK with the hard flow not the mellow delivery. Solomon Childs on that duet with Shyheim hardcore flow and not on his R&B shit. Everybody else great as expected too. Remedy keeps up with all of them.
I'm dying here I'm so enthusiastic. Somebody get the paddles yell 'clear' and shock me back from Wu heaven into reality.

^^Yeah I said that.
I need to cop this album.
Yeah this album can't miss. Theres a music video coming for this too.
^^Good to see you post!
TBH Solomon's ad libs don't bother me on this track at all, I had hardly even noticed them. It took me a second listen to spot them.
I have to clarify by saying I love Jim Jones tracks and he does ad libs ad nauseam so there's that. So I guess I'm into ad libs. It's true that the Wu hardly do any ad libs though so it's out of character on a Wu track like this one.
p.e.a.c.e.
Whats the problem with Solomons adlibs (RIGHT?!) I don't have a problem with the adlibs (whoop!)
Nice to hear Streetlife. Feel like I haven't heard him spit a new verse in over a decade or something.
Think about this . Remedy is gonna give us the Best wu album of the last decade
^Word!
3 for 3

Listening right now. Its really good.
Cilvaringz are you coming back at Remedy with bars?
Sounds dope!
Here's a written mini-interview w/ Remedy (basic write up) dating back to March that I just found
https://www.kuhillel.org/blog/remedy-wu-tang-clan
Still have to read it myself in a minute so I can't comment yet. It looks like it puts emphasis on the Jewish heritage and the connection to the Wu mostly
KUHillel (cf website name) is a Jewish university in Lawrence, Kansas
Aint heard something this nice from the Wu in ages... U-God wouldve been dope here too

How the fuck did Remedy manage to get that many Wu-generals together for that video? Is he really tight with them? Gotta listen to the album ASAP.
Album does not disappoint!
There are many day one affiliates.. But cool with the little info. Thanks
Dope album. I think there's a lot of replay value here, can't see myself tiring from the album soon.
Damn ! I haven't posted in years but i had to. This shit is fire ! It will go down as a Wu classic in a few years.....
I can picture Cilva in a jealous state now. Remedy did his best here ... I ve yet to listen to the whole album.
Absolutely true !

Thanks for the link !
''Remedy grew up on Staten Island, and attended New Dorp High School, where he befriended Wu-Tang’s Raekwon, Inspectah Deck and Method Man.
“I was in New Dorp [and] Method Man was over there for a minute—Dek, Raekwon, too—but they weren’t the Wu Tang yet.” Remedy said. “And then I played football in high school and that was like a second family with a lot of cats on the team.”

100% agree. started listening on the 25th and been on repeat since than. was great to listen all day yesterday !!!
He did a great job putting this album together.
And the clan sound fantastic on this. It would have been nice if he got all the members (special edition bonus tracks?) but thats nitpicking.
Remedy showed us he had the rhymes and ill production skills with Genuine Article. Have not listened yet, but going by what I am reading on here so far, it looks like this is going to be close to that. I hope he did most, if not all of the beats, because his production is fire. Anybody know who produced it?
Remedy and Danny Caiazzo who was a producer on Deck & Ghost's last albums.
Caiazzo is 3 for 3 on Wu albums. He's a keeper. He made Deck's Chamber No 9 sound more like Wu than some of his other solo releases

It's cool to have Street, Shyheim, Solomon Childs, KP on there and see Killa Beez spit good verses holding their own with the generals. Solomon Childs can be hit or miss but he did well on here imo
The Deck LP was okay.
The Ghostface one was bleh.
Yeah the Deck album was definitely the better one out of those two.
I like Chamber No 9 more than Deck's second and third album too although those have some bangers. the overall sound on Chamber No 9 is more consistent to me

deservedly positive review for Remedy Meets Wu-Tang (not mine) :
https://www.google.com/amp/s/legends...ng-review/amp/
The highs on this one are really high. That Greatness track...sheesh...Trife annihilated that beat. Ghost's verses are likely older but to echo someone else he definitely sounds rejuvenated. A few missed opportunities imo and I wouldn't consider this a future classic after 2 listens but this is a VERY good album. Props to Remedy for making it happen
Remedy did a superb job here. Delivers on all counts imo. My favourite part of the album is the middle section, from track 6 onwards. The first third all solid beats.
Greatness had me grinning ear to ear...
That excellence continues with The Receipe and Art Basel... All fire 🔥.
Guest features are spot-on. Missing Rae, but not complaining.
Killah Priest solo is dope, but seems out of place somewhat on this album.
It makes me wonder if this album evolved out of the 'Return of the Swarm' project that Remedy was apparently helming. In a similar way that Math vs Meth became Saga Continues.
Damn this is flames!! Listening right know.

Great track.
