I think when you're faced w/ it like your homie (may he rest in peace) its recovering. It's a constant state of existence.Quote:
i have a friend who smoked rock for three years of his life and hasn't smoked it in at least 5 years now i don't know the exact ammount of time, he was killed in a car accident, but for five years he was not smoking the rock, only thing he did was puff ciggeretes, didn't even drink or smoke weed. some people can really recover man it is true i do know people he's not the only one.
If that was direceted at me then you got me confused for a heartless muhfucka. That's not me at all but I can tell you someone that is in bad w/ drugs has got to want the help. I've seen instances where people try to pull family out of the situation they're in & force 'em to get clean but they just end up busting out in the middle of the night and grabbing anything of value they can carry and bouncing. First and foremost they have to want the help, then anything's possible but the addiction in most cases remains a battle. It's the reason an alcoholic will continue to go to AA meetings even if they haven't had a drink in twenty years. They could go thru all that time and stil view themselves as recovering alcoholics.Quote:
But i guess you would say..
Why help them. they just junkies right ??
