Over-rated groups.. Well I personally feel that most of the groups they play on the radio here right now are over-rated. Atomic Kitten, Sugababes, Justin Timberlake, Robbie Williams, all of them.

They made some of the greatest songs ever. MOrrison wrote some of the craziest songs, Ray maznarek played some of the craziest organ tunes. And Hendrix just launched a whole new era of guitar playing. Combined with some crazy sound.

I think Nirvana was overrated just because they were the first grunge band to hit it big. I mean, they really weren't that special. I like their music and they did some pretty good shit but a lot of people view them like gods just because Kurt Cobain died. Great band but kids who don't know music worship them too much.

Soundgarden is pretty dope. I haven't heard much of them but what I've heard I've liked. That song that's like, "I fell on...black days" is pretty good. Maybe it's mainstream but whatever.

I've listened to a lot of Soundgarden, a couple of friends used to worship them so I was left with little choice. I think they're a good band, just..not that good. Hence why I think they're over rated, a band can still be good but they can also be over rated.Quote:
