i was always thinkin it was tryin to say how nobody pays attention to Ash Wednesday anymore but that was retarded of me....

Ash Wednesday is that one day where (if you observe it) u are ALWAYS fuckin noticed....everybody walks around with a smudge of black ash on their foreheads...

so the line is like he just blew u away in the elevator and now he's gettin out and walkin around the crowd with ashes (or maybe blood?) all over him like it's Ash Wednesday but nobody is noticin...
