First of all, Mussolini was running Italy BEFORE Hitler came to power in Germany.....As far as Italians AMERICANS hating blacks....well they probably picked that up when they immigrated to the United States because there aren't too many Africans living in Italy.

All I'm saying is that that was not the reason. I realize this is a pro-black board, and that I probably shouldn't take everything at face value, but this is supposedly the Know-the-ledge section......I guess I expect a little more intelligence.

This is very true. Italy did not really want Fascism, Mussolini seized a weak govt. and took over. Actually it was likely Tupacs given name that probably influenced the rest of the group to choose revolutionary/counter establishment aliases.

It's not all Italians, but Sicilians probably have Moorish ancestry from the when the Moors inhabited most of the Mediterranean. Moor was a collective (and not totally accurate) term for the Black and Arab Muslims from North Africa during the Middle Ages, so it's feasible that some Sicilians might have black ancestry.

Interesting views and discussion here, my thoughts are that it's about the power and lifestyle that these mobsters/gangsters had.
