this is why i feel immortal technique is a shit rapper.
he's talking about the US government being bad with a soviet sickle and hammer on his album cover.
and all he has is politics so that's what he'll get judged on.

It's amusing, because once again, i was talking about things of this nature with my brother, and he brought up that Gordon Brown had said 'New World Order' in a recent speech and that it would be amusing to see the inevitable reaction of conspiracy theorists.
As Nicky said, it is pretty weird to see people becoming excited every time a nation's leader uses such a phrase.
Conspiracy theorists merely tap into the fact that politicians will recycle phrases like that, and extrapolate it out to have some greater, ominous meaning. It's so transparent, and basically outlines why anyone going along with that shit is just gullible in essence.
Conspiracy theories target the uneducated and gullible portion of society. I've read a lot of the 'literature' from sites such a Prison Planet, and on the surface it is extremely persuasive and apparently well supported by evidence. But you merely have to scratched beneath the surface to begin to realise the ridiculousness of the claims and the clear motives behind what is being communicated.
Nicky and Dan make good points.
I also acknowledge DirtMcGirt's point about Jones not having the same level of exposure.
However, at least he is bound by some journalistic boundaries, albeit very broad ones.
I dont fuckin get how so many people can see the fuckin towers fall at a second slower than freefall speed and not think that controled demolition was used. Pancakeing floors, give me a fuckin break that shits cartoon physics. Like when a cartoon character is inside a building and they fall through a floor than they hit the next floor stop then go through that floor and so on and so on. Until they reach the bottom of the building and end up in the damn ground. Real life dont work like that, energy will be used and depleted with every floor that is hit, slowing the object down with every impact. So how are the towers falling at near free fall speed and not being slowed by each consecutive floor? Either the buildings were diesigned to collapse like that or demolition charges and shit like nano-thermite was used. Which by the way nano-thermite residue has been found in the dust from the collapses. plus there is building 7 no planes hit it, all it had was small fires, it falls at like 5 something that afternoon. The official explanation is just that fire caused it, they dont know how it just did. All the proof anyone should need is right in front of your face.
I dont know how to inbed video but here is a link to a vid from a Danish tv show interviewing a scientist about the nano-thermite. http://www.infowars.com/danish-scien...11-not-planes/
Its pretty much just the USA that dont get this info other countries actually have open dialogue about the bullshit 9-11 conspiracy theory.

Face it, most of us on this aren't in any position of power. I doubt we have presidents or large corporate bosses here. One thing that is for sure is that, if we do have some form of power, our head grows and we want to retain that power gained.
Simple studies in psychology will clear that power gives us a new mental challenge on our discipline, composure and moral/ethical lines.
To say that people in power are all holy and will not use their power to retain their position and protect their status quo is unwise.
Also wrong is to assume every action somebody in power does is to kill babies or to manipulate you.
We have to extract what is important for ourselves by ourselves.
Whoever believes everything the media says is a clown, but when the news channel says there is swine flu, most likely there is. Nothing less nothing more. The bigger picture is for you to figure.
Just try not to be ignorant to what the other person has to say.
Did anyone watch the nano-thermite vid? And yes it is from info wars but they just posted the interview they didnt conducte it.
my friend goes to this business university, very hard to get into, and was telling me about this class he had.
they were saying that in the economy, there are certain standards and situations which exist inexplicably, and just shouldn't be questioned.
one student raises his hand
"what, you mean like the illuminati or something?"
the class laughs
the teacher replies
"probably"
Again, I don't think there is anyone on here like that.
I am extremely moderate in terms of my worldview as compared to the rest of society.
However, on wu-corp, it seems that my moderation represents an extreme.
I believe in using logic and past events to draw conclusions on that which cannot be known.
I find that most ASSUMPTIONS made in KTL are far-fetched, baseless, and use flawed logic.
At the same time, I firmly believe that the United States government, as well as EVERY SINGLE GOVERNMENT IN THE WORLD are flawed, both inherently and in practice.
Does that mean I think they are all "evil" ? No.
Again,
You don't understand my post.
And if the term "flawed logic" is used, would it not be logically possible that there may be a naive member here from the thousands of members who think the government is inherently superb and any mistakes tiny glitches that can be overcome by future actions?
The inherent message in my original post was to urge people to look at the power of the world and accept that it does both good and bad things and not one exclusively.
To be honest, I think that you were referencing me as a poster who thinks that everything is perfect, and now you are back-pedaling.
That being said, I agree w100% with your message.
I have constantly said on this board that there are always 2 extremes to every issue, and that the truth almost always lies somewhere in the middle.
Hmm I had a feeling you were a little defensive.
Listen, I was not referring to you, honestly. I wanted to make a general statement. I don't believe anybody is wrong, I just believe people ought to have the capacity to fully appreciate all sides before dismissing them. And this should be done with respect.
I wasn't trying to disrespect anybody and I don't back-peddle. I always mean what I say and will always apologise if I was truly wrong.
Peace
Well, then it seems we agree.
Its ok Prince....whites and jews are naturally suspicious of posters with Muslim names.
ALl because of the 5% nonsense and the nation of islam extremist shit disguised within a religion.
Rai is an ancient egyptian and hindu name.
But I know what you mean.
It's all good though
See, my ignorance shines through. We are all hypcorites.
lol thats cool
why? for having an agenda? I acknowledged that everyone has an agenda which then becomes what agenda is it that you're standing behind.
IT has a garbage flow but his agenda is to try and put enough shit out there to motivate his listeners to go research what he's talking about.
People will accuse him of being a nutcase but there's a reason to make songs about the US importing coke into the US,for instance, because it happened. It's not make believe its just a little-known piece of history. I'm for getting the truth out there so its an agenda I agree with.
sure he has the right to say whatever he wants...
and i can call him an idiot....
This is difficult to rebut because I don't know how to quote my quote with your commentary, but I'm going to try.
You said that all media has an agenda:
Yes, and their main agenda is to get people to view their medium. Some attempt to sway people's mind, but I think they are obviously discernible to intelligent people.
BUt the media's main objective is not to turn people into sheep or tell them what to think, it is simply to make money off of them by presenting them with what they want to see/read/hear.
I'm not saying the motives are pure, but they are not inherently evil.
I can't believe that you don't think the media tries to expose shit. A Senator can't even get his dick sucked in today's climate without it being all over the news.
You also seemed to defend Chavez. Chavez, is, to some extent, a champion of his people. Maybe he wants what is best for them...I won't speculate. However, look at how he treats political opponents and dissenters...look at Venezuelan media...there government is completely closed and people have no freedom.
You seem to respect him just because he openly disagrees with America.
As far as the transparency of America's government, in comparison to other governments, I don't even see how it is arguable.
Immortal Technique is like the Black Man of the rap industry.
well, most people don't care to learn. The information is there. Thats the point though.
Most people know it exists, don't care cuz they can't do anything about it, and it rarely impacts their life.
9-11 for all the havoc is wrecked for alot of people, did not really affect my life much.
As long as people are comfortable, they won't care. When it started to affect them alot, then they will care.
That goes with almost anything in life not just foreign policy.
I take an interest in all of this, thats why I care. I assume the same for you.
I dont feel someone is ignorant for not wanting to know, just ignorant when they do care, form an opinion without doing their own research.
But thats were the media comes in. Sure they use tactics. The State is always going to be pro-State. NO matter what type of State you live in.
That doesn't anger me as long as the people have some say in its leadership.
Corruption exists everywhere and it will always exist in Government and the State.
I think people should be exposed if they are wrong. Expose the U.S. for its wrongdoings, just do not expect the U.S. to be gung ho in doing it.
My Lai Massacre in Nam is an example of this.
The US military initially covered it up and the Senate was ordered to investigate the incident.
But only after one of hte soldiers story's had been published by a journalist in the St. Louis Post-Gazette.
Thats how its got to work....from the bottom up. I understand what your saying, but again people aren't going to jump on everything.
It has to have value to them.
I'm not going to learn to understand the mechanics of certain machines or mathematical problems because frankly I dont care, and it will probably never affect me.
I hear you on that and alluded to it in a previous post in that its not that the information doesn't get released but it DOES get buried under a mountain of distraction. Another point I made earlier was that the national media doesn't break any real stories, just as you mentioned here, it was a newspaper that put forward what got national attention. I'd say that's probably the case for 99% of any major story that was intially unknown.
It was a paper in San Jose that originally broke the CIA-contra-cocaine connection and it seems to always be a similar situation when a story does get broke wide open.
I would say foreign policy does affect people a lot more than are aware of. How much heartbreak was caused by the crack wars of the 80's? Foreign policy put it into the streets. I'm personally not comfortable with those kinds of things being done. I'm pretty much powerless by myself to cause any real change. All I can do is remind people on hip-hop forums :b
1984 should be mandatory reading for everyone. Orwell reminds you over and over again that the hope is with the proles but that they would never realize it. Its how I feel about the system as it currently stands. We perch ourselves up by standing on the backs of others with no real awareness of exactly what that means. It's a posistion as a nation I'm not entirely comfortable with.
