I read a story about a lady who is $150,000 in student loan debt. She lives in CA and has a law degree. She went to law school for the wrong reasons. The sad thing about her ordeal is she ever obtained a full-time job five years after she finished law school. Well, she filed a lawsuit against her former law school stating that the school lured her in based on false recent graduate employment rates.
Seriously?! Anyone with a brain would understand that a law degree will not guarantee employment. Case dismissed!
LAwyers don't always make the money people think they do. I think the average is a lot lower than we think. I forgot the exact number but for how much law school Costa it's def a struggle if you're not good.
they have the highest rate of suicide of any professional I believe. Being a lawyer seems to suck. It's hit or miss but is advertised as hit and the average lawyer like someone just said makes nothing worth the cost of the education
I think it was like 45k a year the average salary.
and like the average monthly loan payment for them is like 700
The annoying thing about this primary is that Bernie wants to dog the ACA but he can't. He's so worried about insulting Obama and losing the black votes he literally has a gag order on himself.
Because his plan would do away with ACA, which has essentially been a "good intention" failed experiment for a lot of people. Even Hillary admitted that last night.
Every one of these democrat debates has been about pandering for the minority vote. It's cringeworthy.
I just assumed they already had it with all the rhetoric about Trump.
I personally enjoyed the Muslim-Indian radiologist whose first generation who all of a sudden "fears for his life" because of Trump.
C'mon son. I don't what the Indian population is like in other states but in Greater Cleveland, it seems like 9/10 are some form of Doctor or they own a small business (mr. Hero mostly around here and convenient stores) and usually the sons and daughters of more well off immigrants. I've yet to see the "struggle" they speak of.
Per capita they have to be the wealthiest "minority" in the country.
ACA is shit. Bernie should just go ahead and say it's shit. People over simplify the black vote and community in general to their determent and the person doing it the worst is hilary with nay naying. Unless she aims to attract 16 yr old girls that happen to like to dance and can dance to the extent that they're happy to do the nay nay and see other people do it, then she's an idiot if she thinks a room full of Morgan Freemans or even Willie D's are going to vote for her because she did the nay nay. Or anyone of voting age. My 3 year old niece effin loves it though.
Same with the belief that opposing obama is going to make you lose the 'black vote'. Black people criticize obama all the time. The issue is that attacks on obama are 90% of the time coded racism or just flat out insults that most black people themselves have had to endure one way or another.
Obama has been the most publicly unopposed president because what's said about him is too ridiculous to stick.
Bernie should go ahead and say the ACA is stupid. The original people saying the ACA was stupid were saying it because they believed Obama was a communist, and used that phrase often. The focus will always be on the black people defending him and not the ridiculousness of the attacks.
He can't though. And I agree people oversimplify the black vote because I wouldn't be surprised there's a lot of closet Trump guys out there.
With all the focus in the impoverished and imprisoned black Americans, there are plenty that live in good suburbs who have good jobs. I see it first hand every single day.
That's why I cringe when I see them talking to blacks with kid gloves. Stop that shit please.
I think that's how whites who have no experience living with blacks act though. And Bernie and Hillary are exactly that.
White people who never grew up with diversity tend to overcompensate in some form.
Either with white guilt or with hatred. It's weird but I guess it's probably a normal human behavior.
Black middle class and poor white people are two demographics that the country doesn't want to acknowledge exists.

poor black people and very rich white people get a lot of attention and everyone outside of those strata are anomalies. 'black issues' always gets lumped into a box that only addresses shit like police violence or crime which is pretty annoying because being that white people and black people are in the same country the range of issues they face are pretty much identical.
Had criticism of Obama been sober I don't believe the ACA would have passed but this unworkable irrational trench was dug and it became 'fuck him' v. 'leave him alone'.
Black voters like and respect Obama for his symbolic relevance, but within the black community there are debates about his policies (gay marriage, ACA, inaction on police oversight, did he do enough etc) couple this with the fact that culturally most black ppl i've met are pretty republican, the republicans blew a chance to be a real party again by acting like irrational alex jones listeners and throwing an 8 year hissy fit about chimps guns kenyans and communists
Yea it's pretty pathetic when they do that. Because most blacks are conservative especially in the south which is basically their demographic base.
Before I vote I need to know who Benny Fubu is endorsing. Aka food for thought.
I can't imagine it's Bernie because of all the past anti-semitism.
What anti semitism? Is it actually anti semitism or just anti Israel stuff that the Israeli government crys anti semitism any time any one criticises their treatment of Palestinians?
Just curious, I dont know much about Bernie pre this election.
In all honesty though, will Trump be 'allowed' become president by the powers that be? Im not talking about rigging elections, but corporate America has enough money and power to put an end to the Trump campaign in other ways. I cant imagine any of those huge corporations and the big powerful familys like the Rockerfellers wanting Trump in the presidents seat.
An example of anti semitism is racist Farrakhan. He hates jews so much that he praised Donald Trump.
America is a democratic republic and if the people elect Trump "Corporations" can't stop it.
I swear you non-Americans really have no idea what a stable form of government we have. It pretty amazing. Especially when you see how governments come and go In places like Europe.
I'm not saying it's flawless but it's definitely one of the best set ups out there. Longevity alone will tell you that.
