maybe this guy found this old beat and tried to pass it off as his own? Idk if its just same sample dont remember but seems to be same exact beat. Maybe an ice waterproductions situation where they dont know who did it so just put homie who picked it as producer. Possibly in ghosts stash a while. This would make it inline with people saying it is atleast 10 years old. Though the K-Dot line would give it another 5 years, not sure if Ghost was so tuned in when Kendrick did TPAB. But lines can be added.

Being that the beat is 15 years old, and with Action Bronson, this could very well have been a Pretty Toney inspired one.

Thanks brotha! Sounds pretty good. Ghost just spoke on the album last night and said that he has joints on the album that are 20 - 23 years old, and he said Metaphysics is one of those joints....although I don't believe it to be that old because he shouts out KDot....so probably 10-12 years old most likely. He also brought out Nas to say he's the GOAT and that he was the reason to make him wanna write back in the 90s....I believe they played 5 or 6 snippets after, but the video cut out.....I'll find the link

Yeah especially now we know about the issues he has with homosexuality and potentially being the reason he has no good relationship with his son, this stuff is extra sad and I just cannot listen to it. In general whenever I hear rapper use homo or faggot I tend to either delete the verse or just not listen to the song at all. Sometimes it’s forgiveable, but there are too many songs where it’s just not comfortable for me to listen to.

In this case, there’s too many stupid lines about pussy and homosexuality or “men not being real men” that it completely kills the track for me and I have zero intention to ever hear it again.

Did not notice until like 2 minutes and that he has his pants sagging right there, thought it was just the big belly getting in the way hahahha :) Guess he really memorized the 23-24 years old part lol. No way it’s 2000-2002, but he’s not the sharpest tool in the shed so whatever. It definitely explains why GZA’s there though.

Exactly. Even more so, we know he is not dropping it as just a language thing. Like for example Eminem. This is Ghost really being a homophobe, 2025, and feeling comfortable about it with a kid who is non binary whom he clearly sort of disowned.
