They didn't qualify for the Champions League as they finished 4th. Which seemed a bit odd to me seeing as Ribery joined and he always talked about leaving Marseille for a Champions League team. I dunno if he understands irony or anything, seeing as Marseille qualified and all.Quote:

Eto'o is staying, as is Henry. The latter is linked with a move away every summer, so I'll believe it when I see it. Apparently when Stan Kroenke buys the club the first thing he'll do is bring Dein back as chief executive, which will help in securing Wenger long term, and those 2 guys are the key to Henry staying.
Barcelona will go for Diego Forlan instead, as that'll help balance the books with Yaya Toure seemingly coming in. Edmilson is apparently leaving, and I've always had the feeling that Marquez will join Milan, no idea why. fenerbahce might be signing australian player nicky carle, none of you would know him but he's a good prospect, hes got pace and went alright against uruguay the other night, he won't see any first team action though
ive watched a little of the gold cup. compition is weak. im waiting for copa america. i thought i saw a commercial that said they were letting mexico and the US play in it. i want to see how they do against the big boys instead of the minos in the gold cup.
