The average hip hop fan or aspiring artist in 2010 is a full blown retard with the emotional scale of a child. Their so-called innovation often appears faux (and can be traced to outside genres). For some reason listening habits are linear and this has become the "norm". Disrespect towards musicians from the past is at an all time high, -this attitude damages the genre as a whole, strips the music of depth and makes outsiders of the genre perceive it as silly.
