Just realized you're still fiending for her.
Nigeria were shockingly disappointing. They just had nothing going forward, they couldn't cross, no decent balls to Emenike. With their squad they should have trounced Iran. Terrible match.
Germany just cruised today, Portugal were bad but that shouldn't take away anything from Germany. Even before the red card Portugal didn't do anything to rattle the Germans.
The Portuguese only put up a fight for the first ten to fifteen minutes. Such a disappointment.
Lol @ this guy getting butt hurt over calling these yank sports lame smh
I'm well aware of the difference between singular and plural as in.
Basketball
Baseball
Ice Hockey
NFL
La Crosse
NASCAR
Softball
Laser Tag
Hot Dog eating
Are boring, fag sports that are barely played outside of the US save for small pockets and barely given a fuck about because they're boring
I will respectful disagree with you about some of those sports.
lol @ soccer being more exciting than basketball and NFL football
Basketball is played worldwide
And to think Artest changed his name to cool down people going all emo in sports threads. (That would be a plural.)

Anyway...
Belgium's first match tomorrow, against Algeria. I'm gonna spend the better part of tomorrow getting tanked up before the match #game plan
NFL isn't exciting when you know that a superior version is played without padding and helmets :lmao:
Ghana just taking long range shots, not gonna score like that. Muntari has been fucking crap.
The United States with the upset win.
Hey congrats, USA! 1-2. The sweet taste of revenge, right?
Dempsey scored really quickly, but it only took Turkish star player Hakan Sükür about 10 seconds to score against South Korea in 2002.
The African teams are so overrated. I can't believe the (Nigerian I think?) coach was saying an African team can win this year LOL
Yeah, some soccer fans take the sport way too seriously, leading to fans getting killed in the stands and elsewhere.
and oh yes do i remember that goal very well, can't believe it was 12 years ago. What a shit team Turkey is now. Ranked 40 i think, absolutely horrible the way we play now. I aint overreacting when I say todays Turkish team is on par with Azerbaijan in football quality. No wonder guys like Ozil and Ilkay Gundogan picked Germany over Turkey.
I agree. They have talented players but no such thing as tactics or creativity. They just try to overpower and outpace other teams and it doesn't work anymore. They don't play a team game at all.
Yeah you can tell how individual the African teams are. There's no excuse for Côte d'Ivoire to be an under achiever and even Egypt can't even make world cups! Ghana were simply bombing in shitty crosses that rarely got passed the first defender or taking ridiculous long range shots.
They play similar to most asian countries (especially the gulf nations) just run and run but very little technical play of ability to get in behind the defender. No where near as embarrassing in terms of play acting as the gulf nations are though. You haven't seen comedy until you see a Qatari player roll 30 metres after a tackle :lmao:
I think only cote d'Ivoire has a chance to make it out of the group. Sadly I can't see an asian country making it out of any group this time around unless japan go on a tear and Côte d'Ivoire slip up.
lucky usa.. ok u did ya job, u won a match. Now is time to say bye!!
Very excitef to see belgium 5th State!! but argelia wont be easy rival less when 5 players are playing in spanish first division!

Enjoy the match, man. I read in the Dear Admin section you're actually in Brazil supporting your team. Much respect! I hope you're having a great time there.
And you believe him? He's been attention whoring on here for years. That's why he makes ridiculous claims about teams winning and he's constantly wrong.
Looking forward to seeing Belgium play but I can't believe Wilmots didn't call up Nainggolan.
It's strange that Brazil and Mexico will play for a second time before Russia and Korea play for the first time lol how does that work?
Based on location and weather conditions. They try to play at the most suitable time based on the conditions.
Oh sorry I missed out yesterday... USA! USA!
When are my compatriots going to wake the eff up? The Belgians are playing much too slow!

Vertonghen fucked up, that foul was too obvious.
Wilmots has to rile the team up now during half time. I expect more, much more from these players.
Also, Dries Mertens needs to be put on the field for the second half. He's a good striker who moves swiftly.
The Algerians are doing what they are good at : defending well, and counterattacking really fast (well, it only happened two or three times). I have to say: the Algerians know what they're doing. My team doesn't seem to have a clue.
Fortunately the last five minutes of the first half were better than the first forty minutes.
For neutral viewers I'm afraid this is a very unengaging match. Sorry, guys.
The Belgians can still turn this around but they have to play much, much faster. Also, they shouldn't pass through the center of the field so often. They need to reach their wing players much more often, in order to put Lukaku, our striker, into position in front of the goal. We haven't seen many assists, that's symptomatic.
2nd half has just finished. The new players made a difference : first Fellaini scored, then Mertens. Origi (instead of Lukaku) played good as well, he was much faster than Lukaku. Good calls by coach Wilmots!
The important thing was that these three players wanted to play FORWARD.
The first half was absolutely terrible. For the next match (against Russia) I suggest Mertens play the whole match. Mertens has had the season of his life with Napoli (Italy), he brims with confidence. Fellaini might prove useful again against Russia as well.
Kevin Debruyne and Eden Hazard disappointed. Eden Hazard has been lazy in his passes for the last few friendly matches as well. Hazard needs a wake up call. The season has been very long for him. He DID provide Mertens with the assist for the first goal.
Debruyne on the other hand, I think, was very much impressed with the circumstances. We have to remember that this was the first World Cup match for all Belgian players, except for Van Buyten (defender, Bayern München, might retire after the World Cup).
Vertonghen needs to be talked to as well. These kinds of fouls are deadly on this level.
Most important lesson : the Belgians need to play much faster next time, play much more on the opponent's half (first 45 minutes were a disaster in that area : Belgians played back to their own goal keeper way too often) and they need to show more determination. This is what Algeria had in big amounts : determination.
I think Algeria played well, in accordance with the qualities they have. They played as a real team (more so than the Belgians in the first 55 minutes), and I think their coach had studied Belgium well in its previous matches.
Hope you guys at least had some fun watching the second half.
congratz 5th!
mexico brasil best match in tha tournament so far.. i enjoyed it so much... group a aint decided at all! last journey will be fuckin interesting
Hopefully Korea can get a win here otherwise it's looking bad for Asia. Japan have one foot out the door, we're not getting anything out of our group and Iran just aren't very good.
