Biscuits' miss alone, was enough for Spain to deserve losing the World Cup.
well fucking hell. I expected Spain to come out this game and just be brutal. Saw no Tiki Taka, they just couldn't get the ball moving like they usually do. It wasn't like Spain came into the tournament playing badly. They just crumbled.
I think a big reason for this was not the bad play of Casillas, Xabi Alonso and Ramos but the team modelling itself to accommodate Diego Costa. Spain just didn't look right at all. Costa was never 100%. They shot themselves in the foot. Should have played the way they do with Fabregas as a fake number 9.
Also credit to Chile, played great. Flawless game they fully deserved the victory. They can go very far in this tournament if they play with this mentality every game.

It's great for the tournament they are out. Their style of play has been dreadfully boring for 6 long years and this WC has mostly been amazing for attacking football.

Yeah Colombia were very impressive. Want to see more of Quintero great young talent. Porto bought him for nothing and will probably sell him on for $40million+.
As for England, well the game had 1 world class player and he just came out of injury and wasn't even 70%. Yet he was the one that won the game.
Previous English teams would have defended better, this one has been awful in defence. They cannot open up teams going forward, they had some chances but against closed defences can't do much.
Rooney is overrated, Gerrard sadly is finished. They still got a chance of going through but its a longshot, they are relying on Italy. They will probably smoke Costa Rica tomorrow and rest their squad against Uruguay.
Rooting for Japan now.

Japan v Greece was awful. Asian really has disappointed me this year. Japan lack a goal scorer to finish their play but they played well in the Confed Cup IMO because their opposition played an open game. They can't break down a compact defence especially a physical European or African team. We went to japan in qualifying and they couldn't handle it the physicality or pace.
