Bosnia have been ferociously unlucky. The own goal against Argentina, disallowed goal, foul before Nigeria goal, hitting the post in the last minute. Just terrible luck. Also Dzeko was utter crap.

Anyway, the game turned around again in the last ten minutes, where Hazard finally (for the first time in 2 games) showed his class. The players who came in (Mirallas and Origi this game) made the difference.
Our stronghold : so many good 'benchwarmers' who can make a real difference. Our weak spot : sloooow playing and imo a lack of courage.
I thought the Russians played in a well-organized way. Capello of course is a pro. But I think he's going to regret not having put Kerzhakov to good use in the first batch of games. Hopefully for the Russian team he'll make Kerzhakov a titular for the last group game.

South Korea - Algeria was an awesome game, Algeria played some great football. South Korea was nowhere to be seen in the first half.
Belgium did what they had to do, boring game. Russia were typically Capello. With Belgium I don't think the team is used to playing with such pressure and playing as the overwhelming favourites. That might be getting to them, sometimes they look really tame and can't seem to get their midfield going at all.
Now for Portugal, what the fuck is wrong with Portugal? Absolutely awful, the squad is terrible. It really is Ronaldo on his own with Moutihno running about. The rest of the team is really bad. They are really lucky to be in it, they have been terrible so far. They need to knock in a couple of goals against Ghana and I don't see that happening. If Ghana play like they did against Germany they will shred this Portugal defence.
With the USA they played well, organised and hard working. Going forward they were good, defensively massive problems though, they will need to fix that against Germany. The Germans will open up that defence no problem, thats if of course they actually try to. Draw works for both teams.

9 goals conceded, 3 defeats. Pretty unfair reading since the history books don't tell the whole story. Should have taken a point from Chile and would have won if their keeper doesn't stop the Bresciano shot and against the Dutch competed for 90 minutes.
We'll win the Asian Cup if we keep the squad fit.

It was a pretty impossible group. However apart from the last Spain game Australia played well. They pushed Holland and Chile. Just little mistakes here and there by the defence and they conceded crucial goals.Quote:

Saying "Australia has no skills" is the ultimate BS comment. I thought Cahill's left foot volley in to the roof in to the roof of the net as well as the pin point cross was pretty skillful.
Japan are pretty skillful and look how they are going. Italy are out and they are skillful. Spain have some of the most skillful players and they're the first to go home.

It works for us too sometimes. Tim Cahill tried to play for Ireland in the 2002 WC but was luckily banned because at 14 he played for Samoa then FIFA changed the laws and he chose us. Things would be very different for us and Ireland if FIFA showed common sense in 2002.
Yeah Ersan Gulum who is a pretty decent defender, injury prone but probably the 2nd best centre back Turkey has. Still he can't get into the national squad because of the politics that surround the national team. He should have picked Australia he would have been ideal for them.Quote:
